  1. Look here, it is Deutsch, very good material about Scania http://www.die-leitplanke.de/1-herzlich-willkommen/4-modelle-im-bau-gebaut-seite-2/scania-r-730-8x4-heavy-haulage-tractor-m1-24-no-3900-mt/
  2. To JT - I bought it direct in Modelmakershop in Austria (500 miles there and back from my home ). It is limited edition. Just 1000 kits for all world. The first 500 hundred are on the stock. The problem is over there, that so the parts are from more manufactures. For example - box, 60 % of kit is Italeri, PE parts are from CTM, resin parts or cnc parts are from another. So in shop is now a massacre . Heinz (owner) must put it in box and it is a lot of work. I called him that I will come and he prepared me 2 pieces. I can say it will be hard project. A lot, lot and lot of parts... totally full big box. So as materials lime photos of original truck on CD, guide... But it is no problem to order it on office@modelmakershop.com You can write in English, Heinz speaks English very good. And you can pay by Paypal of course. I think it will no another way to buy it. The seller will be just modelmakershop. And price is 150 Euro for one kit, plus shipping.
  3. Hi boys. The newest kits in my collection... And 380 Euro are gone with the plastic
  4. With permitance of my good friend from Czech Republic Pavel Behenský (Stratomodel), probably best big rig modelbuilder ever. Here are some photos of his work. Pavel, it is great!!! Each of this models are own Pavel´s scratchbuilds, filled with photoetched sets, prepared especially for this builds. Enjoy it. 5. Hmm, So. For good results for the aplication of Spaz Stix (so as Alclad) you need black, gloss and dust free surface. The first I apply black colour (doesn´t matter which sort - best is for example flat black from Tamiya), than I apply 2k clearcoat (you can buy it at each color or painthouse, it is clearcoat for real cars). 2K clarcoat is the because you can apply it on each sort (type) of colors. Its going harder on base of chemical reaction. I can say simple, 2k is not aggresive to colors, so as decals. Why I apply 2k over black? Because it makes real "black mirror", what is necessary before Spaz or Alclad apply. Here are some photos, how I make it... I use 2k Ivat, it is Italian products used by Ferrari. ...And if it is prepared surface like this, than I apply Spaz (surface is not polished on the photo) And here it is apply on real car colors. Red and black are nitrocolor, blue is waterbased color (pure water for thinnig! no stink!), and chrom is Spaz. Red and blue were matt after aplication, The high gloss makes 2k...
  6. After years of "modelmaking" I think the best is Spaz Stix Mirror chrome. As a black layer I use any black color covered by 2k clearcoat. Than apply Spaz Stix. Awsome results.
  7. Wau, what a monster. I like it. Very interesting.
  8. Using of PE parts blasts this model to higher level. Great work.
  9. Next photos: Reworked wheels PE grill Engine
  10. Hi, As I wrote I´ll try to insert photos of my older projects, which were cancelled by moving on new server. Here´s probably my favourite build. I love all KW´s. In this project I tried to stretched chassis and to used full PE parts set from Czech truck model. I tried to hide all visibly "locks". Another big mines of this snap tite KW, so as Pete are rims and tires. I found from my supllies Italeri tires (1/24), and a little bit "reworks" rims. I just added rings from Italeri sets. Just glued it on original rims from outside. Also is necessary to added middle rings (also from Italeri set). Now are tires passed good on rims. Color is white from Gsi ©, overcoated by Superclear III (also Gsi Lacquer). Decals are from Jerry Reeter from Modeltruckin. And also some weathering, but not so very good it is. Wipers are little bit long, but now there are correct...
  11. Thanx. Unfortunately, We are (with my friends) working on it. So under construction, just now.
  12. Thanx to all. To Mike: Yeah it is normal plastic kit. This is OOB (OUT OF BOX) built. The producer is Emhar and scale is 1/24. Here in Europe cost this about 56 Euros. There are four types of Bedfords - recovery, tanker, dropside and tipper in this group. Also there are more combinations of each type. There are few version of decals in the box.I think you can buy it at your local shops or on some eshops (evilbay...). It is not hot product. Unfortunately I have no time to make more photos to workbench. But I prepared my own website (no forum). Over there will be more photos from my all projects. So as many cars (U.S. and Japan), Eurotrucks also.
  13. Hello colleagues. Just today I finished another model from Emhar , Bedford Truck Recovery . As for the color and placement of Decals is according to my decision . Color range is also invented because manual prescribes a two-color scheme ( ivory and red), for this decals. I tried to make also some weathering and to apply some dust . The colors used are from Ivat , so as 2K topcoat paint . Decals are under topcat. It is not some extra well built of this model. but I am pleased . Parts gets together well, I saw any problems. Problems canbe by assembling these parts: grille - hood - cab. But here it is well.
