  1. I have a strange facination for cars people in general find ugly or weird. I would so love to drive, let`s say Citroen AMI
  2. This is typical evilbay price with free shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tamiya-24316-1-24-Aston-Martin-DBS-model-kit-/200954808835?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Model_Kits&hash=item2ec9d70a03
  3. They dont have many US cars as for kits, these are the one i could think of now. But they have lot of cool US cars in RC. Older kits like the Ferrari Testarossa or F40 you can get dirt cheap on Ebay these days. The most expensive seem to be the Ford Sierra RS500 and Escort Cosworth kits. It`s a shame these never was made as street versions. But i guess Tamyia focus mostly on motorsport and RC. Yeah, and there are lot`s of US "iron" in the WW2 1:35 scale. Quality is top notch imo.
  4. Very nice. Who makes the 2d ht 55 ?
  5. Thank you! All this aftermarked stuff is new to me so i hope it`s not to anoying with all these questions
  6. AMT 68 Z28 Camaro. 1955 Cadillac Eldorado convertible resin. ESCI Mercedes 190 2,3 16v. Revell 65 Chevy Impala convertible. AMT Pro shop 57 Bel Air.
  7. Congratulations! You can find some treasures there now and then. Lot`s of good stuff are posted in the "parts" and "junkyard" tag often. I have bought around 40 kits now, mostly from USA,and i only had one episode where i was not happy about what i got. The guy who sold it gave me half the item price back straigh away,i did not even ask for it. I just wish more US sellers would ship international, they would have sold buckets of kits.
  8. Where do i find decals for the the 1970 Plymouth Cuda? These are the one i`m searching for (see picture)
  9. 65 Biscayne. Plan is to make it with a mean 427 and four on the floor.
  10. Both the kit and the 1:1 is very rare. They used to sell the car as 1200 2door sedans where i live, this with a 4 banger,no rotary. Very cool kit there.
  11. XK120 http://www.thecoolist.com/1954-jaguar-xk120-roadster/
  12. Thanks for the info. Yes i notice now the hood arent flat at all. maby i mistake it for the 67-68? I recently did win the 68 Camaro from AMT on ebay. It look very flat in comparison to the 69 stock hood.
  13. Thanks. Is there a limit by experience how many days i should let it soak? And if try,any special type of brake fluid you recomend to use?
  14. No problem. Will need to do some research on these items and see what i could find. The freezer trick did not work for me either
  15. Thanks all for good advice. It`s now in the freezer and will see later on if i get it off. One said i could use BMF on the parts and that is a great idea if i dont get them off. I have no idea what purple pond, super clear, degreaser etc is,maby if you have a pic of the product it will make it more easy? Also, since i live in Norway these products might be named somthing else if they are avaliable here.
  16. Thanks! I took a look but it does not seem to be flat. Thank you. Do these guys have a website? I only found some fotki accounts when i tried google it.
  17. Thanks! I`ll give it a try with the freezer and see if things could work out. But sprinkle water on it or cover the entire body before freezing? Or no water at all?
  18. I cant get between the fender and housing with anything, even thin scalpels.
  19. Hi. How do you guys handle parts that is really stuck? Is there any bath/chemicals to resolve glue and at the same time do not damage the plastic? Really struggling with this old Cadillac,so far it got me 5 stiches in my finger and i`m still just as troubled as when i started The only parts that are left are the headlights, not the lense but the housing and i`m out of ideas to get them off. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appriciated.
  20. I`m no fan of pro street because it would be a nightmare to put it back into stock with all the bodywork done. Also i dont see the point with the huge rear tires as for handling and performance. I have more faith in mixture of rubber. I have to point out i have no experience with drag racing, but when i see street legal cars close to stock run high 9`s on 1/4 mile with street slicks i hardly doubt it would perform any better tubbed with huge ballons in the back. Pro-street look mean and brutal, but i think it`s more show than go in many cases.
  21. 5 stitches in my finger from a nasty cut with a scalpell last night. Gluebombs should come with a warning label It`s only my own fault, eager and stupid.
  22. I do enjoy the genre as long as the body is fairly stock. Also cool those cars who are pushed on the track, not just a garage queen with to big wheels. Like this.
  23. So the cowl is gone from the hood. Needs a little fine tuning with sandpaper before i can fit a piece of styrene sheet to replace it. Input on what type of putty i can use and paper type, like 600-800-1000 etc. Never done this before. It look more awful than it is because of some of the primer is gone around the edge.
  24. Hm,yeah i`ll try look and see what i can find.
