  1. This is the ultimate Camaro in my book. Actually it`s cheap compared to what it would sell for in Scandinavia. Regular 67- 69 Camaro`s (Not even matching number cars) go for around 45-55000$ here in Norway.
  2. Evilbay? Well, got two kit`s today. Fujimi Porsche 911 Turbo 85 Enthusiast model (My first Porsche) & Fujimi BMW 323I Alpina.
  3. That is a great link for parts, thanks. Does anyone know if there are shops who sell big rig kits, tired of lurking on ebay day and night and get outbid The kit`s i really want is Mack D800,International Paystar 5000 or Autocar A64B.
  4. Thanks for the write up. Well,i only want a daily cab and maby get a c500 hood, single headlights, maby a detroit v12,not so much crome etc. Also build an tool box behind the cab maby with a crane. If i go with the v12 i would want to add turbocharging. A nice big bumper and grill guard would also be added,is it called grill guard?
  5. Hi. I have to ask if anyone here have any experience with this kit? I ask because they go for around 19-23$ on Ebay, and thought this was cheap. Other kits go from 50$ and upwards. Is it rubbish or somthing go get? And do i find resin parts for 1:25? Tommy
  6. Now and then some guy on ebay sell fire truck equipment for 1:24 & 1:25.
  7. No,just random pictures from the web. The Faun got a 812hp 16V-71TA engine and can pull 500ton. The Mercedes Titan got a 20liter v12 with 525hp,in 1982 this was quite a bit of power. Not sure what they use for poweplant in the Kenworth. Suspension of the Titan.
  8. Mercedes Titan 4852. Faun Gigant. Or many somthing like this. Want to build somthing army theme, maby with a tank on a trailer.
  9. Maby someone could make the 77 Impala/Caprice coupe for me then
  10. Cool! What engine do you use?
  11. I bet this can lay rubber for miles Nice stance and clean looks, perfect.
  12. Got the regular Hasegawa Jaguar XJS v12 1:24. The TWR version always slip from me
  13. Amazing details
  14. These two parts is going straight to the trash. Have some boxes with lot`s of diffrent parts and i found a couple of things i consider use for this build. The frame and some parts of the underbody i most likely will be using from a 62 Impala kit. The sump on the v12 is wrong for the frame so i will remove the sump on the original engine and add dry sump lubrication. Not electric,i found a resin part with belt drive on ebay i will add. I`m not sure how i will be making the inntake, but i found itb`s from Top Studio i want to add to it. As for exhaust,i think the headers from the CLK GTR will fit because it is based on the same engine. Ordered some styrene sheets so i get to work on the chassis. I suspect this project is not done in a day.
  15. I measured and found out the 62 Impala is a perfect fit when it comes to lenght. Only need to shave off a little behind the rear axle. This old AMT (62 Impala convvertible) do not have a separate frame, the floor is molded into the frame.
  16. Got this from ebay. Esci Range Rover 1:24. Model of the first gen 2door. Tamyia 500SEC Lorinser 1:24. This was built. John Player Special gold color decals for 1:24/1:25. Top Studio air funnel & velocity stacks for v12 engines. 1970 Pontiac Firebird 1:24 from Revell.
  17. Cool car. Wich color is it out of the box? Detailing on these are indeed amazing.
  18. Never seen one in black, looks good.
  19. Very nice build.
  20. Thanks for great suggestions guys. The X frame is not going to work.
  21. Thanks for the pictures. Yes it look like it could be a good fit. Problem is that close to every kit i buy i get 27 up to 45$ shipping on top of it. 10-12$ with tracking & insurance from Asia for comaprison.. I told the people from the US i deal with on ebay that i wont give anything less than 5stars or bad feedback even if the kit get lost somewhere. This usually can give me shipping down to 17-18$. Dont see the point give them bad feedback just because the post office somewhere screw up.
  22. Monty: I thought my modeling skills was okay, but after looking at this forum i have come to the conclusion they are below average and then some . Thanks for the tip about the Monte Carlo. Jim: I think 50s will work just fine and i will look into that Corvette. Thanks for the tip. If i manage to shorten the frames, lenght does not really matter as long as we are talking a normal mid/full size car.
  23. Thanks! I`ll check it out.
  24. Can you guys suggest any 1:24/1:25 size kit that has separate frame? As where the frame isnt molded into the body? Looking for cars from the early 70s until mid 80s. As for ideal lenght i think the Avanti or AMC Pacer would be perfect. But,any suggestions are welcome.
