  2. Hi again, I have some free time today to post a few bulids I have finished over the past few week the first is the new Revell 1990 Ford Mustang lx 5.0. I wanted to paint this one like my friend had back around 1992 same color as his outside and inside.I painted the body in scalefinishes color but I can't remember the darn name of the color but it is a factory color from ford for the mustang. The kit went together nice but there was a few things that I ran into. One was at the point were you put the wheels on to the pics with the small cap you are to glue to the back of the rim the attach it to the chassie but if you want to have the car to roll one of the rims were the pin attaches to the rim is it way off set I pulled them off and one of the rims wobbles when you roll it and it rolls like a egg as for the rims you will have to see witch one of the four it is test them first and see the next one I do will have them correct has anyone else have this issue with the Mustang?.Other then this small thing it went together real nice.Well here aer the pics and thanks for looking to.

  4. I just seen them here in Michigan in Taylor today. I was told my the manager that the bigger store that have good sales will be carring them. For the s/e model like the 2010 Camaro it was $21.99 each I was glad to see them there again.

  16. Hi again, I had sometime to get a few thing done to the Torino over the past few day. I have the body parts all finished and barefoiled the shock towers painted in satin black as for the interior I went with white so I painted the headlinner seats and doorpannels in white.I then painted the engine block heads and intake ford engine blue the trans was painted in aluminum. As for the rims I painted then in saint black and for the center caps I used red for this. The grill was painted in black and then I used a paper towel for cleaning the excess paint off the grill.I also used red for the center of the grill that runs vertical on the grill.I still have to barefoil the window cranks and door handles to.Well here are the pics and more to post in the next day or two thanks for looking to.

  19. I know that but the humidty was over 70 % in the basement today and I have a dehumidifer going alos and I always clear my models this gives the body a much deeper finishe look to the body once I set sand them out.

  21. Hi again, This will be my first w.i.p on the board here so here I go with it. I seen a pic of this Torino on another board and wanted to build it in this color med blue met so I picked up some of mcws paint and started on it the other day and I just finished paint in the body in the color But it went on to dry fro some reason I think the humidty was to high today so I have to color sand the parts then once I get this done I an clear them tonight it all gose well. As for the interior I might go with white ike the one I seen in the pic not sure though. Wel here are the pics of the body painted more to come thanks for looking to.

  25. Hi once again, I bulit this one about a month ago the Revell 1969 copo Camaro I painted this one in mcw cortez silver met I primered the body #3600 wet sand tacked cloth the body parts then I painted the body in the cortez silver. I had two nice size hairs in the trunk thanks to the cat that got in the basement so I had to sand the body and reshoot the body all over again. Once the cat was up stairs and the door closed I color sanded the body parts ad then cleared them.As the body parts were drying I painted the interior satin black. I then sanded the body parts ont with a lmg polishing kit to a deep shine once this was finished I barefoiled the window trim. The engine was painted in chevrolet orange engine color.Trans was painted in aluminum as I was buliding the model together I didn't want to use the rear spoiler on this bulid alonf\g with the front one too.It went together nice I just whish Revell would have added the exhaust mainfoilds with the kit along with the headder it comes with. Anyway here are the pics and thanks for looking too.
