This was also done in 1/8th scale in black first If I remember right

not to crazy about green but I do like this color combo nice

Dave did they send you just one test shot or more than one?

I will get this kit and the other ones Revell will produce I have seen the two that are out as of now the Camaro and the challenger the only thing I seen was the mold lines in the bodies. I know if I bought one of these kits one of the three things would have been done. one I would have contacted revell about it and either send the body of that Challenger back to them or send them a pic to show them the Issues with it.How can revell do something about it if they are not told about it or have even seen it.Two strip the body if you know how to do it and paint it your own way it is a model after all. Three if you know how do do it and there is enough paint on the part try wet sanding it out and see how that works.I just can't belive how much this can get out of hand about a plastic model kit.I have always asked Tim questions here and there and he sounds like a stand up person and I myself have never seen him and he live not far from me well I said enough on this one.

I also use automotive primer from mcw and I just painted the 67 Camaro and had no issues with any of the parts I painted them in.

On the body for the corrections is just back of the rear quarter pannel the very lower part the body line is removed and is now smoothed out.

Thanks for the info on the kits If Revell and amt would only do this and keep us informed to what is going on with the kits that they are working on for all of us on the board here!!

That black and silver one is the one that I was told that will be comming out as a special edition from Revell and later on a 442 version will come later.

This kit was talked about on here a few monts ago but I can't seem to find it anywere on here it was comming out first as a special edition as a either a 84 or 85 442 hurst olds and then as a 85 or 86 442 I suar hope revell will go head with this one I had a 81 and i put well over 250,000 miles on it and I liked that car it just seen it's day finally the rear body mounts came through the trunk and had to junk it.

Has anyone heard any info on the status on this kit? Last time I seen it one the board Ed was trying to find a few good pics of the engine for the kit.

Tim I have this kit bought it friday and like you said the oil pan has a cut on both sides for the tie rods and center link to go through. and for some reason the only two parts I didn't find in the kit is the stock hood and th shaker scoop and I think only two stock tires for the front. On the Mustang drag car it has all the stock parts to do a stock version.

Dave, Is the pontiacs going to have eight lug rims I think the ventura had them but nort for sure on the catalina one thanks for the nifo on the kits also!!

Looks nice so far are you going to use the stock rims in the bulid? How much did you remove on the front and rear springs to lower the chassie?I just bought this kit friday and It will be my next bulid I think mine will be school bus yellow from scalefinishes.With blacked out rims from another Mustang kit from revell not sure yeton the kit for the rims .

Nice color combo I just started on another 57 ford too mine is the factory gray met with a white top and trunk your turned out teal nice and I also like the wheel combo and the engine looks nice did you have to do any mods to get the engine fit??

I'm thinking about this ordering parts to on revell I had bought a 49 mercury wagon and had all four hub caps with white spots on them were the chrome was not applied to them so I placed in a order and this was back when the kit first came out and I finaly called them and after three days I had a return call telling me to send in the upc code and they would replace them for me at no cost and as of tonight I still have not recived them form revell.Also I was missing a valve cover for the 69 nova and I put this order in on 3-6-14 and still wating to get a e mail or somthing from them about this. I sure hope they are on this board and read some of the topics about this.I sure hope this is somthing that is not going to be a issue with them I have been a long time customer with them for well over 30 years most of the models I bulid are from Revell too.
