fujimi enthusiast model i worked with a 911 flatnose from that series when i built my novecentoundici cinquino, best kit i ever had in hands. even better than tamiya in my opinion. -
Quentin Tarantino without any doubt. from dusk till dawn, pulp fiction, inglorious basterds, django unchained - love them all!
-
awesome! i hope you continue to post your progress! i already have another 911 engine to be fitted in a short(y) car - my winterproject ...

i love kitbashing. great idea and perfect finishing!

very, very cool!

well, painting is not my favourite task in the process. i prefer the creating and making of the models. until now i didn't find any motivation to start with my painting skills from zero. maybe i will some day ...

thank you, ray!

thanks a lot, rider!

you should place the model on a mirror-plate, so the beautiful underbody is always visible! bad ass!

after finishing the 911 fiat 500 i had a turbocharger left and wanted to use it for something special. then i ran across this kit: when i saw the shape of the front bumper with the large opening in the middle i immediately realized its perfect for an intercooler. the target was clear: fit the turbo so it pops in your eyes when you look under the hood, install an intercooler and make the whole car look bad ass. the turbo was installed between the radiator and the engine, which required to make some room for it first. the exhaust manifolds were swapped, so they pointed to the front instead of to the rear and were connected to the turbo. the intercooler is a radiator from the parts box, all connection pipes and hoses needed as well - exhaust is also scratched. additionally i lowered the stance at the front, installed disc brakes, bigger rear tyres, scratched a sort of eleanore rear, front spoiler, racing seat with harness and some more. painting scheme is hertz rent-a-racer with a red underbody. i saw this on a car for sale on ebay and knew i have to make it like this. like black stilettos with a red sole - very sexy. paint job is brushed (as usual for me) and therefore not perfect. but i like it. some pics of the unfinished model and finally the result. hope you like it, too.

after finishing the 911 fiat 500, the mustang turbo and the '49 merc i had a lot of parts left: - a 911 body (without fenders, bumpers and roof) - a 426 hemi cross ram (optional engine for the merc) - custom wheels and tyres (also optional for the merc) - 2 bucket seats (guess what: optional for the merc) and plenty of small parts but no - suspension - transmission - radiator as of many volksrods have already been build from beetles but no porsches were "rodded", i decided to call it porschrod basic decision was: front or rear engine? i wanted to keep the shape of the 911, so i could not mount the only suitable radiator (from a 1/12 motorcycle kit) i had in spare in the front. i decided to go for the front engine option, but to mount the radiator in the rear window with some extra air intakes and an electric fan. i had to make a lot modifications to the 911 body (it was too wide, it was too long, it had no firewall, it had no transmission tunnel, and some more). as i wanted to use as many spare parts as possible i scratched a rollcage, head-rests for the seats, a wheelie-bar, front and rear suspensions, drumbrakes, differential and transmission, a fueltank and some more. also the engine was modified and detailed to my likings. 2 pics before painting and the result.

bought this "toy" on dubai duty free, increased track width, added a radiator and an oil cooler and brush painted many details.

hi, i will post them one by one, so stay tuned! -
its nice, i like it. but somethings still missing - its not looking "racie" enough for me. i would have lowered the chassis, widened the wheel track and modified the wheels to give them a drop center rim look (i hope i googled that correctly). but maybe its only, because i like cars wide and low ....
