  1. Absolutely beautiful! I really like the color.
  2. I have enjoyed looking at everyone else's vehicles. Thought I would share mine. It is a 2006 350Z with just over 19,000 miles on it. It is painted Interlagos Fire which is Nissan's "flip-flop" color. The picture was taken in North Dakota. I liked the contrast between the two elements in the photo. Unfortunately the barn no longer exists.
  3. Wow, it looks great. You are doing some very nice work!
  4. It looks like your question has been answered. Let me add my 2 cents. I use the Xuron PE shears / scissors and the Small Shop's Hold and Fold. Both items are top quality and I whole heartedly recommend them. If you are doing just the occasional one or two pieces of PE and have simple bends you can get by without the PE tools. I have 1:350 USS Missouri and Yamato with tons of PE and these tools will be essential. Although the Hold and Fold is pricey, once you buy it you'll have it for a lifetime.
  5. I'll be watching this one too. I've got this one in the stash. I'm on one hand digging the decals and on the other hand thinking they are the goofiest things I've ever seen. I am really looking forward to seeing what your experience with the decals is. It is looking good so far!
  6. Thanks for the comments and compliments guys, they are appreciated.
  7. This will be my first post in this section and my first attempt at posting pictures. Let's see how it goes... I thought it fitting to post this F1 as this weekend kicks off the 2013 F1 season. This is a box-stock build and was used to get me back into the swing of things after taking most of the summer off from building.
  8. Thanks for the "welcome" guys, I appreciate it! I getting ready to post my first pictures, we'll see how it goes.
  9. Wayne, I am from Garrison. It is located between Minot and Bismarck. Garrison sits right on Lake Sakakawea. Really not a bad place to grow up, but as I like to joke, not a bad place to be from....
  10. I just wanted to take a minute and say hello to the board members. My name is John and I have a fairly typical story. I am originally from North Dakota and building models was a great way to pass the 360 days of winter each year....lol. I grew out of models in my teens but rediscovered this great hobby in my thirties when I was settled in WV. I have amassed a collection that I will never come close to building all of. This is the only hobby that I really focus on and it seems to keep me out of trouble. I will try to share my past builds with you as well as current and future builds. Thank you for allowing to play in your play-pen and I look forward to becoming part of the group!
