  1. AMT snap kit. Didn't snap together as easy as the Ford GT kit I finished a few weeks ago. Had to enlarge most of the holes. Headlight detail all but non existent. Fairly detailed chassis and interior. A pain to get front of chassis to sit all the way down, and when it did, the hood didn't fit right. Painted Rustoleum Metallic Bronze with Krylon clear. Interior Krylon Brown Boots and semi-gloss black. Engine Chassis detailed. Wheels and rotors before paint. Interior.
  2. Looks great despite the issues with the decals
  3. Freaking sweet! I do like the color combinations.
  4. I remember mine fitting tight. Think part of cage broke loos and had to re-glue it. Despite it saying lift off body, mine wont be coming off any time soon

    Toyota Aristo

Very nice looking Aristo Oscar!! I have a Aoshima Vertex GS300 awaiting the VIP treatment. I do too along with a couple other Lexus/Toyotas
  6. Looks good. I love my child, but there would be a hurting rear end involved.
  7. I've always liked those Piedmont cars for some reason. Great job on all of them.
  8. Great job! Did you have to route the exhaust out tail lights or does kit come that way?

    Toyota Aristo

Built using an Aoshima kit. Painted interior two tone gray. Didn't bother with the two piece seat seams since you can't see them unless you get up close on model. Chassis somewhat detailed. Car was painted with Duplicolor Hyundai Pearl White with Krylon gloss clear. Hard to see pearl in pictures, shows up better in person. Used some 20" chrome wheels from Aoshima.
  14. Nice aging. I've got a North Carolina one in the stash I need to get to at some point.
  15. First model in 15 years; Looks great!
  16. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
  17. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=37105 http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26727 And this version of search as I've learned is your best friend for getting a lot of questions answered, http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79627 I have used The Detailer and it works pretty good. I usually build imports so most of their grilles are black.
  18. Great looking old school NASCAR!
  19. I was just looking through pictures of one of the Tamiya versions I built, and this looks like a dead ringer for it. Hmmm.
  20. Dang JT! That's a great looking wrecker!
  21. You going to leave the wheels bronze or change to another color? You've done fantastic work so far, will be watching.
