Its Duplicolor Chrysler Forest Green.

The third time was a charm, lol. I primed and sanded it. Then I used tan The Detailer over the whole bed followed by brown The Detailer on every other board. I already used silver Sharpie on bed slats to make sure my idea would work. If it didn't, bed floor would be black. I think shot a light mist of exterior color followed by several coats of Krylon gloss clear. The silver is very subtle unless you get under a bright light or camera flash. Thanks for all the compliments!!

Good to see your engine fits in there nicely. I think gold wheels would be cool.

I think the 2x is similar to Krylon paint and primer in one. You couldn't spray a light coat of that stuff for love nor money. I have an almost full can of that in yellow that's going in the trash

Used this Revell kit, Exterior painted Krylon Hunter Green with Krylon Ivory roof cap and wheels. Interior painted same Krylon Ivory with tan and brown accents on door panels. Used the lowered front suspension option and made a dual exhaust for it. Don't understand why Revell mad the hood in three pieces. Took a lot of elbow grease to smooth the sides out. Other than this and the bumpers that didn't want to mount correctly, kit went together pretty nicely. Interior Engine. Painted MM Chevy Orange. Chassis. Truck.

AMT kit, Painted Duplicolor silver exterior with Future clear. Interior painted Krylon Burgandy with silver accents. Front grille opened and de-chromed along with most other exterior accents. Only bumpers and part of hood ornament left in chrome. Lowered front suspension about one scale inch. Bed wood made from brown and tan Detailer, followed by a light mist of silver. Then used silver Sharpie on rails followed by several coats of Krylon gloss clear. On with the pictures. Engine. Chassis. Interior. Outside.

Brandon, sorry it took me so long to reply, but I couldn't get quotes to work in IE. i used Liquid Glass polish. Not sure its is still available; I've had this can for 15 years.

If you get the "regular" Rustoleum, it doesn't go on so thick. That Porsche cabrio I posted last week was sprayed with it. Now it still comes out thicker than say Duplicolor, but once you get used to it, it isn't bad. Takes about 5 hours to dry, but forms a heck of a shine.

Started with this incomplete kit. Missing interior, one wheel, one mirror, and no decals. Painted glass black to hide the lack of interior. Tried three times to get glass to sit correctly, but I think it was slightly warped. Car painted two shades of Duplicolor green separated by a thin strip of BMF. Wheels are Fujimi 17" BBS style with centers painted bronze to resemble the copper plating the import guys are using. Painted tail lights to look like the JDM ones. For lights painted with a yellow Sharpie. Thanks for looking and comments and suggestions welcomed.

No. Mustangs have positive offset wheels. I don't know enough about suspension geometries, etc. I'm not sure if any new non-specialty car that has a negative offset.
