A couple of things to keep in mind as you read this: I am a scale snob. I have a 50 year obsession with 1/25th and 1/24th scale, so I usually never look at others. I also normally don't look at Euro trucks, American large cars are my thing, but your model is awesome! The kit itself, the build quality, and the color you chose, excellent!

This IS a case of art imitating life. The White Motor Company, at one time, owned Autocar, White Western Star, Diamond Reo, and White Freightliner. They were providing cabs for Diamond Reo, White, Autocar, and Western Star conventionals all at the same time. All the AMT kits reflect this. This carried over to cabovers for a short time. The Road Commander II is the same White based cab as the new for '79 Western Star cabover
