  1. Wow!! That is freakin killer!! Dude , i love the color and who needs tail lights.... What material did you use for the rear package tray and dash?
  2. See thats what has me stuck Tim.... I like both sets equally, but i think i am gonna go with option 2....
  3. Ill get some better pics tomorrow, but it does have a nice rake to it... Thanks bro
  4. Got this kit a few days ago, and i couldnt wait to start it.... Ive seen a few kits being built either stock, or as Johnny 5-0 (lol).... After messing with wheel choices the past day or so... Ive narrowed it down to two choices.... Whichever wheel choice i go with, the other wheel option will be going to be used on an SVO Stang.... I am not concerned with the roof issues, i think it gives the car more style IMO.... Option 1 Just a mild lowering, losing the fender gap... [/url Option 2 Not sure what this would be classified.... Most people use the term Pro-Touring loosely.... This would have to have the chassis narrowed a bit and tubbed in the rear to drop the rear down a bit more and not rub on the frame.... 5. Started this at the end of July... Just wanted to do a quick build. Nothing wired. Cragars on parts box whitewalls. Testors Bronze paint... Didnt want too much shine. Was aiming towards a car that a high school kid owned and spent most of his time working on in auto shop class.... 11. Thanks guys... Chris, this is the Monogram kit...
  12. This is a slow going project that i have been working on for close to three years off and on... The majority of the hold up in the beginning was how to construct the hood. Then i finally managed to cross that bridge and a couple months later i was in the hospital for 6 months... Im back to working on it again and this is the route im taking... A lowered gas station tow truck... This is just a rough mockup, but ill be updating when i can...
  13. Thank you Carl.... Yea, i think ive found my niche as far as weathering goes... Im gonna be taking a break from building weathered rides for a bit... Ive got a 70s era lowrider in the works and getting back on my Chevy COE
  14. THanks Nick.... That was the look i was aiming for lol
  15. Finishd this up... Step notched rear frame, wheels and tires from the 48 Woody, whitewalls handpainted. Scaledreams (R.I.P.) air filter.... Moderate rusting.... Didnt put the rad hose in yet because im unsure if the radiator is suppose to sit high up like the instructions called for....
  16. Got the engine done... The air intake is from Scaledreams... Now to take the body off the frame and remove the wheels so i can paint the frame... Sorry for the quality of pic... Im using an iPad....
  17. I dont think i ever saw this! I love it! Looks really good... Makes me wanna jump in and drive
