  1. Hello all, Hope everyone's well. Have a question on the best (see easiest) way to assemble the AMT (Italeri) Freightliner FLC cab. I see by the instructions sheet that it has a good number of pieces. SO that out of the way do you build the interior, then the outer cab around it. Or vice versa? As always help is appreciated. Thank you. Regards, Jerry
  2. Mine are pretty normal for a kid from the 1960's, 1970's. 1970 Buick GSX Stage 1 455, 1970 Chevelle SS454 LS6, 1969-1971 Pontiac GTO, 1968 Camaro SS396, 1970 AMC AMX 390, 1969 Plymouth 383/440 GTX, 1959 Impala, 1973 Camaro Z28. Not asking a lot, am I?
  3. Very nicely done both look great. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Hello all, hope everyone is well. I have some questions in regard to resin parts. I never have used them at all. Have a front visor I am going to use on the Revell USA KW W900 Aerodyne. So questions are: How do I prep the piece? How much surface sanding do I have to do? Are there any primers/paints that don't play nice with the resin? What glue works best? Epoxy, CA (super glue), standard model glue? As always any help is appreciated. Thank you.
  5. Quick question. If I go with the Revell KW W900 I want to use a resin front visor I just got. Since I have never used a resin piece before I could use tips on preparation, priming/painting, and gluing it onto the cab. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.
  6. Choosing between the Revell USA KW W900 Aerodyne, and the AMT White Western Star. Both purchased within the last 10 days. Paint color choice being the biggest obstacle.
  7. Hello all hope everyone’s well. Just seeing if anybody’s up for a BRBO 2022? Maybe this year I can actually follow through with a kit.
  8. Picked up an old friend today. The Revell Kenworth W900 Aerodyne. Once again colors are in my mind. Thinking a Red frame but unsure about cab/hood, air cleaners, so any pics of completed W900’s anyone can share it would be appreciated. Thank you.
  9. Hello all, Hope all are well. Just a quick question. I went on the Model Truckin' website (Mr. Reeter's site), and something appears wrong. It's a different format, and a lot of options are missing. Can anybody explain if they know what happened. Thanks. Jersee Jerry
  10. Thanks Stephen. I just picked up a can of Rustoleum Painters Touch 2X Gloss Apple Red. Will probably use that for the frame. Was thinking about using the Hoosier Trucking decals from the Autocar A64B kit. The hood would be painted a shade of Yellow, and the cab would White. Something different than what I usually do.
  11. I’ve never done a stretch job before. However I may just stick with 10 holes on the front and spokes on the rears like a 1970’s O/O unit.
  12. Today I was at Walmart and I found this. The question is do I do it with the sleeper and make her an O/O Unit. Or a day cab Eastern unit?
  13. Hello all hope everyone's well. I have a new project on the horizon (actually two) but I'll concentrate on this one first. I got this as birthday gift from my Son earlier this year. The AMT 1970 Chevelle SS454. Could use suggestions on the build, and any pitfalls the kit may have. Thank you. Regards, JerseeJerry55
  14. Very nice job. I have one in the works. I like building them. Simple, and generally pretty easy.
  15. Yeah I guess so. I might actually paint the remainder using that as an inspiration. Good call. Thanks for bringing that up.
  16. Decided to go with paint I had in my supplies. Krylon Short Cuts Gloss Clover Green, and Gloss Black. Just need to decide on a frame color. Black or Red. Always liked the old AMT Alaskan Hauler KW when I was a kid.
  17. Need to decide on a paint color. Both my 359’s are Blue. Could use some suggestions.
  18. Yes still wish they’d have put a front visor in the kit.
  19. Just picked this up @ Michael’s crafts store today. Good Winter project while I decide on exterior paint.
  20. Wow very nice. My favorite Muscle Car of All Time.
  21. Hello hope all are well. New projects received for my Birthday.
  22. Hello all, I hope everyone's well. I have slowly come to the conclusion that I don't have a proper space to display the B-17. Therefore I am open to trading it. Any interested parties please message me. Thank you.
  23. I will after my oldest Son's Wedding in a couple of weeks. Time is not on my side now. Plus a bit apprehensive about starting "The Beast".
  24. Very cool. Thanks for sharing the pics. I will do that.
