  1. This is awesome. I've recently starting planning for a Pro Street 1/12 57 Chevy build. I can't wait to see the progress on this
  2. Never done a military model, but I do pay attention to those guys and started using the techniques and stuff.
  3. Slightly more progress, on the home stretch 3D printed battery with fittings. 3D printed fuel filter with some .5mm brass nuts and Model Factory Hiro tubing for fuel lines. Used some silicone tube for the radiator hoses and some photoetched hose clamps. Got the headlights mounted, which I had to steal the mounts from my '32 Coupe kit. Getting close to being done. Have to figure out the fuel filler neck and cap, attach the wiring and the fuel lines to the carbs, then I think it's just door handles and the mirror.
  4. These were just released today. Scale to whatever size you need https://cults3d.com/en/design-collections/Scale_Auto_Model_Works/buick-nailhead
  5. I think if you email Texas 3D Customs, he will print it in that size for you https://tx3dcustoms.com/products/6-stromberg-nailhead?srsltid=AfmBOorX9wRaYIqFMYDlv8iaQ-qwxYyT_cs4LsaMtvVKkzb8xBQSD0XW
  6. I know this doesn't help, but there is hope out there, maybe Iceman or one of the 3D parts guys will have or can print this https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/mclaren-m8f-chevy-engine
  7. Some masking tapes do have acidic adhesive.
  8. I have some engines from the Tony Foti Camaro, Bob Glidden and some other kits I won't be using. There are a few small items missing, but mostly complete, plus some extras *One blower has been drilled out for micro fasteners and copper fuel lines, one blower is untouched. *One set of BBC heads has the RB Motion spark plugs installed (cleanly) *Some parts have been glued, some parts have been painted, some parts have had chrome partially or completely removed. Nothing is sloppy or ruined NOT SURE WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR YET NO LINDBERG, AURORA, AMT PLEASE. PREFER NEW COMPLETE KITS. I HAVE A 3D PRINTER, SO NO 3D PRINTED STUFF
  9. I know this is gone, but can you tell me where you got the file from?
  10. Thanks guys. Forgot the picture of the stance mocked up
  11. Getting to the home stretch on this one. The real photo was my inspiration, but nowhere near the same. Just a lot of fine details and some plumbing left. Since I cut the fenders off, I haven't figured out how to mount the headlights yet, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. I didn't want to go to the lengths of chopping it, so I left the roof alone. Interior isn't great, but you can't really see it once it's done, so did basic weathering. 3D Printed Ardun Flathead 3D Printed Wheels and Tires 32 Grill with Model Car Garage Photoetch
  12. Likewise, thank you!
  13. See the attached photos, this is a very clean print. I have an extra engine I printed out. I got the files from Motabas Yen on Cults 3D. This is 1/24 scale, and is too big for most of the 1/25 kits, so please keep that in mind. This is a complete engine, including blower, Strombergs, Etc. It also includes the transmission set, which is the gearbox, shifter, clutch lever and yoke, and 2 versions of the actual clutch. Also there is an optional crab distributor setup, and 2 separate sets of headers. There are also a bunch of miscellaneous parts you can use to get a feel for it. Also, there is a nearly complete, already assembled engine that you can use for fitment and mockups. This is printed with Elegoo Standard 8k Resin, so it is a bit brittle, but I have assembled 2 of these so far for test fitting 1. Complete unassembled engine & gearbox + 2 sets headers + crab dist. setup 2. Nearly complete, assembled engine for mockups 3. Bunch of misc. extras to practice with I am not a vendor, I don't sell 3d printed stuff, this was just an extra that I won't likely use anytime soon. With that being said, I am looking for all the clear parts, including windows, headlights and taillights for the Revell '66 Shelby GT350 Kit in the picture. I may be open to other trades, but this is the particular item I am looking for. If you want to trade for the whole kit, I'd take that too.
  14. I am very happy with how this one came out
  15. Thanks guys, appreciate it. I am pretty happy with this one
  16. I don't finish kits very often, but I just wrapped this one up. My first completed build with 3D printed parts. Body kit from P24 on Cults3D, but can also be purchased printed out from Texas 3D Customs Engine printed out from Slowly's Models on Cults3D Front tube frame printed out from Nineteen 3D on Cults3D Other miscellaneous interior bits 3D printed Eduard photoetched seat harness Verte Artemis Lamborghini color from Splash paints This was a lot of work, my most complex build so far, which isn't saying much. Lot's of mistakes and I have a lot to learn, but I learned a lot on this one and hope to get better. Painting and clear coating is my weak link. It took a lot to get it to this point, and I tried to not highlight mistakes in the pics. Completed over the course of 7 weeks
  17. 0 chance of that, they would have been taken down very quickly. The fact that the Feds said "don't worry about it" confirms they belong to the govt. No way they would let people fly drones around like that
  18. Please update when you do. He is on my follow list and I haven't had a need to grab one of his files yet, but it is inevitable, looks like good stuff.
  19. Basic kit with some Scale Productions wheels to spice it up
  20. I did this one for an online contest and was barely able to finish in time. I should have started a WIP, but here we are. Pics aren't the best. Moebius 1970 Ford F100. Everything is from the kit except the engine, which is the Cross Boss from the old BOSS 302 kit. This is my first time doing rust and weathering like this. I did the salt method. I enjoyed the kit for the most part, other than a ton of flash and sanding, etc. Not terrible, just lots of busy work to clean it up.
  21. Started this over 5 years ago. Had a kid, sold my business, moved from the West Coast to the East Coast, whole bunch of stuff. Finally got my bench set up a few months ago after not touching anything for about 4-5 years. Additions: Model Factory Hiro adhesive leather for the seat, Z-Force Modelworx 3D printed wheels & tires, and spark plug wires.
