  9. Love it! That color w/red & gold decals Just works. A club member did the Revell 57 Ford the same way. Good job! Eric
  10. As others have stated-no WOW factor. But the only "real" probs. I see are the sink marks in the front bumper. And the top of the pass. fender. A hood scoop would help-My .02. I have built a satin paint car also and placed. (but not much) With satin paint you MUST do extra detailing everywere else to get noticed. Also I think it helps where you plase the car on the table. Don't place it in the "back" And use a mirrored base-If you can. But as far as a contest goes... Don't go "looking for a award" Go to have a good time and hang out with like minded folks. Also my .02 I don't meen to say that you go out exspecting to place I'm just sayin. I just got back from Hartland and I saw a very well done car that did not place.(I say it sould have got 1st.) The car was placed in the back up aginst the wall-Maybe that hurt it. -Maybe I didn't see some big flaws.Who knows. Good luck! Eric

  13. Al, The 68 looks great! I sould have bought one when I had the chance..A buddy is building that car. His color of choice is HoK Coca pearl. The red you chose looks very nice. Good luck w/it. Eric
  14. Josh, I think I got them from a Revell 55 Chevy pro sportsman drag car-Carpenter?? or somthing like that. Thanks,Eric
  15. Good job! I love El Caminos. I own a 82 . Eric
  16. I know what your gitting at. AMT is hit or mis. I built that kit a long time ago. I don't remember having any probs. w/the headers. A nice AMT kit to build is the 1967 Mercury Comet. #31761. And the 1971 Charger looks nice-I haven't built it. The 1968 Firebird & The 1970 Camaro are good to build-The only prob. on the camaro is the bottom of the front windshild needs to be filled down so the int. tub fits flush. I'm sure others will have more to add to this. Good luck! Eric
