  1. Larry sometimes I use PPP tires but most often I use the AMT tires that came in the kit I used for the chassis. I find tgem to be slightly wider than Monogram tires but smaller in diameter. I spend lots of time reshaping wheel openings to match pictures and really concentrate on placing the tires correctly in relation to the wheel openings.
  2. AMT chassis stretched 3/16 inch gks1964 will make an announcement when they become available
  3. Well let’s see it!!! I looked 30 years for a decent one to fix that wasn’t rotted to death.
  4. I’m gonna post the first pictures of it all together. Still needs a little flash cleanup here and there
  5. That was a Cutlass body in the junkyard. I do believe it has been saved
  6. To be honest the only sheetmetal forward of the doors that will interchange between 72-73 is the hood. And even then the latch is different. The grille and headlight doors are different too. The 73 frt end was much flatter to match the huge frt bumper.
  7. It has the big bumper. It’s been narrowed as they did on race cars
  8. This is one of the most striking model builds I’ve seen in my 54 years. Simply beautiful.
  9. I use 2k automotive clear on them it lays down almost perfectly flat out of the gun. I only polish to knock down a dirt nib here or there.
  10. Most of my builds are just shelf models so I don’t super detail them.
  11. Here you go. I forgot it has a Polar Lights Boss 429 in it too. The TBird chassis is close to a 70s Banjo chassis
  12. Another Torino checked off my list. Paul Jett Handy Andy Torino Johan body on stretched AMT TBird chassis with a resin hood from GKS 1964 Body detrimmed and modified for racing. Custom decals. Ford Wimbledon white.
  13. Yes please finish this. Way cool!!
  14. Killer job man. Who made the wheels and tires?
  15. Does anyone know of someone casting one of these?
  16. Bill how heavy do you think this thing is?
  17. Thanks everyone
  18. Build it!!! It’s a rewarding kit to build.
  19. 1966 Buick code K Turquoise metallic
  20. I really enjoyed this build. Box stock which I hardly ever do. Only mod I did was to adjust the frt wheels back in the wells slightly. They sat too far forward. I wish the rims sat deeper in the tires but oh well.
