Yes all the 73 cars interest me.

A pretty dull looking paint scheme but it is all paint except the lettering. And I like the way it came out.

About 6 of one Half a dozen of another.

I’m going to make an uneducated guess that this is the same car. It aged out of cup in 73. So it probably went down to the Permetex series. This was common.

Mark sent you a pm

I have no idea. On either question.

It a 100 micron stainless filter. I got them on eBay. They are 3 inch round filters. It was a pack of 25 or so

Do yourself a favor and spray a couple coats of Testors decal bonder in them old decals before use. A couple of mine fell apart and had to find replacements.

Thank you and the schools are super well funded. The problems start in the home. Money can’t fix what’s wrong with a lot of the schools.

No harm man. Did you see my info in the 44 car decals? For the most part spoilers were used on most cars from 67 on.

The only way you could do it would be to file the bottom edge of the trunk lid. Then open the taillight pockets upwards a little. A total pain in my opinion. -
This I want

That’s what I’m saying. But I think if the gap is fixed it may look a little better. -
Still annoying

The package shelf is too long and high. It was designed for a fastback roof.

End cap. The point of it should be about in line with the divider strip in the taillight. It’s way too high -

Ok compare where the point of the madcap is on the real car in relation to the split in the taillight. Now look how low that split is on the model. That end cap is all out of whack. -
Yep it’s done.

Those number decals came in the Model King reissue 72 Monte stock car kit. Problem is it was meant to be a 4 on the decal set. So you need two sets.

Well just cause you don’t see it doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. It was there.Trust me I research my builds for months before doing them.

The whole chassis still don’t sit against the wheelhouses properly. I gave up before I fixed it till I broke it.

Ok so I built one of these and have this to say. They should have retooled the rear seat package shelf piece. This piece and the interior sides won’t allow the interior to fit all the way into the body. I hacked the back off the package shelf and clearances did some stuff on the sides to get it to fit better. It’s still not great to me. The frt suspension sits way too high also. I just drilled new holes in the wheel backs to off set them so it sits better. And yes the front bumper has the correct cornering light option for the show car. I would convert one of these to a Caprice next. I also replace the tires I didn’t like them at all.
