  1. Now ain’t that a shame when folks be throwing away a perfectly good white boy.
  2. I cut the roof off a hardtop kit. Added Zimmerman wheels and Pegasus brakes. Engine and intake from a 69 Riv kit. With turned injector stacks. Tubbed the frt wells to allow it to sit this low. Added a shifter, steering wheel ,column sun visors and armrests from a Monogram GSX kit.
  3. Who knows you are right the 74 and 75 Cutlass promos were wrong. The grilles should have been bigger and the frt bumper was all wrong.
  4. Gm may have told them to correct it. Eldorado had a single exhaust.
  5. No Now I see what I forgot to do to mine Darken the panel lines.
  6. There was three different chassis used for Eldorado promos. 71 had a single and dual exhaust version. 72 had a single exhaust with the muffler on the opposite side Brown car is a 71 green car is a 71 off white chassis is a 72
  7. I honestly have no idea unless they maybe had two cars entered. Made one distinctive looking?? I’m not sure but it looked cool.
  8. This car was run a few races in 72 with a 429 wedge head instead of a boss 429.Johan body roll cage and wheels on a 90’s TBird chassis. Engine from a Revell 70 Torino Cobra. Decals by Ace decals. Front wheel wells radiused and flared.Resin hood. Dry sump oil pan and tank by Gerald Smith.
  9. That is absolutely not allowed. Stance is everything in my book. And opened wheelwells. Most stock cars had wheel openings that had been massaged shall we say.
  10. Aside from that I would never allow a 72 to morph into a 70-71 in my shop. 72 Torino/Montego are the best looking fords ever made
  11. No just showing where the SCJ 429 came from.
  12. It is a Johan Torino body and roll cage (modified slightly for tunnel clearance) on a stretched AMT 90s TBird chassis. The engine is from a Revell 70 Torino Cobra that I used to make an earlier build.
  13. Anybody have any experience with this outfit? Good bad indifferent?
  14. Eldo green chassis Toro black chassis
  15. To answer this question. No. The Eldorado chassis comes to a point frt and rear. The Toronado is straight across.
  16. So I’ve let this lay around long enough. Time to get it back out and finish it.
  17. That is a much more appropriate color for that car! Well done
  18. Thanks that’s exactly what I intended on!!
  19. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I’m pretty happy with the way this build came out.
