    The body is like a half hearted copy of the old Johan body. The Johan is a much better tool than this one. Comes with a much higher price tag too. If I was building a stock 66 I would have found a Johan. Thanks for the trade info.

    No it’s one of those Hasagawa things with the crappy interior in it. It’s a 66. I wasn’t going to hack a Johan for this screwyness. I hope to at a minimum find a Johan 66 dashboard to stick in it.

    Added new drip rail moldings and made some Eldorado style rocker moldings. Went with the 65 style chrome over the 66. I think the 65 style is cleaner looking.

    Floating out the bodywork. Stupid thing had a groove around the bodyside molding I removed. Going to add rocker chrome to it instead of the bodyside molding.

    Oops I never saw your post. It is 100 micron stainless filter screen. I got a whole pile of them off eBay a few years ago for 12 bucks or something

    It’s not you on this one. This chassis is next to impossible to get right. To the point I steal the body and it’s pieces and throw the chassis out. I substitute a stretched 90s Tbird chassis sits better way less headaches

    Salvinos 71 kit with Ace/Cherry run decals. Moved fuel filler made new grille and windshield . Made my usual aluminum exhaust too
