It’s looking real good so far.

Wow Mark you are a glutton for punishment. Are you making a IROC car?
-
I’ll tell you what. I wouldn’t trade modern body tooling for Johans 1960s tooling if my life depended on it. Johans engraving was far superior to most anything offered today.
-
Yes it does but look through the car it looks to have the long sail panel on the drivers side. Malibu had a small window like this in 74. Could this be a skinned Malibu??? There’s some weird about this car. Compare these pictures with the race car. In my opinion for what it’s worth the roof to quarter transition looks more like the Fastback. I have been wrong before however.

Larry I wish I’d seen this before stop!!!!! This car does not have a formal roof. I have studied this picture for hours. Look very closely through the door window . You won’t see the split in the center of the formal roof glass. Plus if you look closely where the quarter meets the roof it comes together as a Fastback would. I truly think this car is a 74 Century body with a 73 Regal front bumper and nose on it.

Johan 67 Eldorado in Tropic Green Firemist. Box stock aside from lowering the frt suspension so it doesn’t sit nose in the air.

Bobby Issac Ford Torino

Doug the next time you want to do a Torino like this put it on a stretched 90s AMT Tbird chassis sits way better and is more accurate too. I can also walk you through the mods if you’re interested. -

There’s a guy in the Netherlands that does lazer stripes and all the other decals for a 72 Torino. I have to dig up his name for you. -

Got a good deal on this a while back. It’s time to do it. This will be close to box stock with some simple improvements. Starting with lowering the front end so it’s not aiming for the sky. I will move the distributor to the front of the engine where it belongs and make some other corrections. Keeping it pretty simple.

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No I left it basically as a got it. It was a decent build to begin with aside from the paint job.
