  1. Can’t remember if I posted this guy before. Still deciding on an engine option. Must be Buick.?
  2. The whole chassis still don’t sit against the wheelhouses properly. I gave up before I fixed it till I broke it.
  3. Ok so I built one of these and have this to say. They should have retooled the rear seat package shelf piece. This piece and the interior sides won’t allow the interior to fit all the way into the body. I hacked the back off the package shelf and clearances did some stuff on the sides to get it to fit better. It’s still not great to me. The frt suspension sits way too high also. I just drilled new holes in the wheel backs to off set them so it sits better. And yes the front bumper has the correct cornering light option for the show car. I would convert one of these to a Caprice next. I also replace the tires I didn’t like them at all.
  4. Absolutely stunning.
  5. Nice looking build. My grandma had one that color.
  6. Just an experiment to see if I could build a car straight out of the box. I almost succeeded but had to put some carpet in and foil on. This is one tired old mold. Ends up pretty ok with exception to the back bumper fit. Factory Ford lime gold paint., Lincoln called it something else that I can’t remember right now. Since the pictures I saw some stuff to be corrected.
  7. Never trust a restored car to be accurate. Things are commonly wrong on restos. Find a good period pic for reference.
  8. The Polar Lights wheels will work but PPP wheels are nicer detailed
  9. Notice on the car with Plymouth in white the number borders are also white. In the original pictures the top #s have white borders the doors have black. The red look is camera screwing with the color I do believe.
  10. I would very lightly sand it with 1500 to knock the peel down a little bit. Add a couple more coats of clear nice and smooth.
  11. If you look inside the body of a 68 kit you can see where the tool would split too interchange with the 69 parts. There is small parting lines inside there
  12. No the Fugimi or Modelers one I like the air snorkel and rear spoiler better.
  13. Has anyone built this kit? Before spending a lot in one is it any good?
  14. Man you pulled this from the way back machine. Wish I had the currency available 73 body when I built this.
  15. Chrome is done except emblems
  16. Starting to get the foil done.
  17. If I can find a builder....
  18. Thanks it one of my favorite builds.
  19. That may be a good idea. Especially considering my hardtop Wildcat has a vintage injection on it.
  20. This started as a hardtop. Trying to figure out what to do with the engine. Will be Buick but needs to be modified some how.
  21. It is five different colors of zirillac pearls.
  22. Whoa this is a super clean job. Beautiful conversion man. You even made the correct bumper filler panels!! Way to go man!!
  23. 66-67 were the nicest of the bunch
