  1. Mark your work is always spot on. Nice job.
  2. Thanks guys. Now I need to build a track diorama like yours Chuck.
  3. So this has been put aside for too long.I gave up on my own decals and had some made. The rest was assembly.I can finally call this done.
  4. The story goes that Chrysler wanted its high impact colors on the race tracks but no one wanted the pink. So John said he would and Chrysler gave him the paint to use on his cars. He had at least 3 cars painted Panther Pink.
  5. I just realised this car wasn't done when I took these pictures. I'll post a couple more soon.
  6. Cales 73 Monte Carlo. A Bandit Resin 74 Monte I backdated to look like a 73. Yesterday's decals PPP wheels and tires.
  7. This is a SMH resin 70 Roadrunner on a Polar lights Charger chassis. A lot of work was done to the rollbar to fit the earlier Roadrunner roofline better. Wheel wells were opened and reflared.Decals came from Dave Van wheels and tires are PPP.. I plan to redo the marker block offs so they don't look so clunky. Tim
  8. ARCA Torino Driven by ND Copley. Motor City resin Torino body on a AMT Thunderbird chassis. Polar lights 427 engine..
  9. The one glaring problem with this kit that bugs me is the front windshield shape. 44 years ago Johan got their Torino body almost perfect. I know I have owned one.Why did Recall put a flat spot on the top of the windshield front edge when it should be rounded.Compare the picture posted before with the Johan and Development body next to each other. Why don't these guys catch these problems. Tim
  10. Possibly the most unappreciated car Ford ever built.A beautiful car along with its sister Montego GT. You did that car justice.Perfect paint perfect stance perfect tire size. Put some sport mirrors on it and put it front and center where it belongs! Way to go. Tim
  11. This is Bill Champion's 1973 Torino that Ricky Rudd Drove in 1975.The body is a new resin 73 from Southern Motorsports Hobbies.Decals are by Dave Van. Chassis is a stretched AMT 90s Thunderbird .Still need to add a few things.
  12. Dave I got this from Doctor Larry on this board. Contact him I know he was doing other year Grand Am bodies also. The one Joe Frasson beat up I am pretty sure was A 1974 with the five grille slots per side. Tim PS do you still offer the Henley Gray add on decal set for the Model King 1971 Thunderbird ?
  13. Finally got back to this.aside from some odds and ends it is done.
  14. This got stalled out and still looks the same.as soon as I figure out how to post pictures on the new board I will show Some more of the 68.
  15. Got this body from Doctor Larry put it on a AMT Thunderbird Nascar chassis.Pontiac engine and headers from Revell Foose 68 Firebird. More to come as I get more done. Tim
  16. Real nice.
  17. This is the best way to build this car.I used the Polar lights chassis with minimal mods to do this car.Didn't adjust the ride height at all. Tim
  18. The body is a model king issue of the old MPC kit.l made the block off plate for the tailights and added other small details.
  19. This is really nice.Looks brand new.
  20. Nice the last of what I consider real stock cars. Tim
  21. That is cool.I wonder if any of those models survive today? Tim
  22. Cale's Cyclone Spoiler. Polar Lights kit basically box stock with PPP tires and a few added details.
  23. A couple more pictures.
  24. I used a Polar Lights Talledega chassis.Had to shorten the front frame horns and the engine cage.Used PPP wheels and AMT 90's NASCAR tires. The tires aren't right for this era but they look great. I'll post more pictures tomorrow.
  25. George drove for Bud Moore in this car at Riverside.Johan Torino, fuel filler moved to pass side AMT tbird chassis stretched ppp wheels and tires.
