Thanks guys! The paint was fun to do on this thing. The roof is a 2015 GM color called Jungle Fever The rest is a custom mix by me. After these colors were on I sprayed three coats of green zirillac (a type of pearl) over the whole thing. Then cleared the whole mess. Everyone thought the colors were ugly till they saw it done. I made the interior colors as well.

This was way out of my norm. I usually build 70s NASCAR stuff. Someone told me it was a great kit so I tried it. I thought about putting the old AMT 65 Riviera wire wheels on it but they didn’t fit the tires right. So I stuck these on to mock it up and thought hey that will work. I still want to put some bullet center caps on it.

I think Pegasus has some

Does anyone still make a W30 ram air hood for the old Johan 442
-
What I’m looking for is smithing like this. It is a center cap that would slide in from the back of the wheel covers just the hub opening

Lowered with Johan Superbird NASCAR rims. Added some stainless screen behind the grille and aluminum exhaust tips.

I’ve been looking for 3 years for more info or pictures of this car to no avail.

That is a future build for sure. I’m trying to do all the 72-3 body Torinos that raced NASCAR.There is one Torino that I want to do that a good picture eludes me. That’s this one This is the only picture I’ve seen of it.Not much to go by.

As you should. I still need to get the David Ray Boggs set from you.

That is the camera playing tricks on our eyes. That is a 72 formal roof from Motor City Resin. It was tooled from the samebody as the orange one behind it.

Got some more done on it. Basically box stock with the exception of being lowered about 3/16 of an inch and old Johan NASCAR Superbird rims. Looking to put some bullet center caps on it.

Here’s more standard roof cars. I wouldn’t waste another cutlass roof on this I would cut the back half of a reissue MPC NASCAR Laguna roof off. The qtr window is already the right shape just needs the louvers removed. -

Earnhardt drove one once or twice. The only Earnhardt car I’m interested in because it is a Buick. He drove one with the Monte roofline most of the others were the slopey back roof.
