  1. Growing up in the seventies these were slow heavy and cheaply built. And had huge bumpers. But today they grow on me every day.
  2. Steve Zimmerman made the wheels. He’s on Facebook. He makes a lot of cool wheels The car is an out of production resin from Scale Equipment.
  3. Man when I get my Missink Link 73 it may become this car!!
  4. I didn’t even know the big Olds SSII wheels were made until after the other wheels were on it. I saw the Olds wheels and said”Now that is exactly the look I’m after .”
  5. Did the lights last night. Got to make the bumper fit better in final assembly.
  6. I’m debating on slotting the bumper for exhaust tips. Have to see how gutsy I am. Got some more foil work done. Moving along slowly.
  7. Started some bare metal foil last night. Need to neaten some of it up a little.
  8. Hood don’t open anyway so curbsidevis fine by me. Just gonna sit on a shelf anyway.
  9. Resin copy of the stock 75 chassis. I will be modifying the exhaust system. I re drilled the axle holes and hacked a bunch out to clear the tires underneath. It’s no contest winner under there for sure.
  10. You and I will get along great!!
  11. The only problem being Revell messed up the windshield shape. They put a flattish area at the top center that is absolutely wrong. I own a 72 Montego GT. I’m here to say Johan got it right.
  12. I think their 1972 Torino was one of the finest bodies ever done. And I love 72 Montegos and Torinos. I look at how bad the Starsky and Hutch Torino is by comparison. Makes me wonder where have all the craftsmen gone? Computer aided drawing cannot replace a good old craftsman.
  13. Finally got decals on it. Change th wheels too!
  14. Johan had better proportions than just about anybody else
  15. Dude really nice!!!!
  16. Call Ronnie at SMH and ask him. Sometimes he takes them off until he gets more in stock.
  17. Actually may not be a bad idea. Power slide makes a awesome set of decals for the Mike Curb cars Earnhardt drove.
  18. Factory money backed Fords and Chrysler’s won almost everything. GM put virtually no money towards NASCAR in the sixties. Buick Oldsmobile and to an extent Pontiac engines were not good for long periods of high RPM usage. Their piling systems couldn’t take it.
  19. You have the formal root car almost done correct?
  20. I wonder where that Grand Am came from? Hows the Buick coming along?
  21. That Buick is on my hit list for sure. Gotta know a color though.
