  1. I did a 66 Fairlane using a Polar Lights Talledega chassis. They were the beginning of the half chassis Holman-Moody Fords. The Polar chassis fits pretty good you need to shorten the frt horns and the wheelbase a tiny bit. I just moved the leaf springs forward a bit. I’ll post it up tonight.
  2. This is my Perry’s resin 68 . It’s a model of my real car
  3. If I can get the hood scoops to look better and an interior done to my liking I have a 69 in the works.
  4. To be honest I’m not sure on this car. A lot were in the trunk. Nichels Chrysler cars were in the cowl behind the drivers front tire.
  5. I’m surprised Jim Heller hasn’t stolen the art to reprint and sell on eBay
  6. Every other 66-67 GM abody has been done except a 67 GS let’s get this one done.
  7. Honestly I think the roofline on that one is just as bad. They both look to boxy. The real thing flowed more. I’ll bet I can fix it easy enough. I’m not afraid to sand the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH out of it if I have to.
  8. Can some model company please do one of these!!!
  9. That’s what wrong. You nailed it. And the line turns down the a pillar rather than curving around the top of the windshield. If they don’t fix it a sanding block can make it better for sure.
  10. They show up on Epay once in a while. You could go on Randy Ayers board and see if anyone is willing to sell some.
  11. Pretty much cut the trunk floor out and built a box for it to go in.
  12. No it is a resin Gran Torino Sport hood with the scoops filled.
  13. On the earlier cars such as this they left the rear pretty intact. The later 70s they got more fabbed.
  14. I thought that too. That would be an easy fix though.
  15. Chassis is in. Final assembly starts now. Added a steering gearbox to the chassis. Had to do some creative engineering to get the header in on that side. Need to redo the lower radiator hose.
  16. Something on the roof looks off to me. Almost like it’s too tall at the back. I’ve never seen a model plastic or otherwise that gets this roof shape right.
  17. Nice job man! I need to do one of these myself
  18. I paint it a flat gray first. Then dust black and white over it from about 2 feet away. All rattle cans. You just want the black and white to kind of fall on it.
