  1. Here’s the picture that irritates me. All you (The kit maker) had to do is take one look at this picture and then look at your bumper. Ifs stinking wrong period. All we have now is all we had for years now. A somewhat Nascarish body with a wrong chassis. We still have to buy another kit to get the right suspension. I’ve done this for years to get a sorta accurate 70s NASCAR chassis. It’s plain silly. Before you make a model PLEASE PLEASE take more than a passing glance at the real thing!
  2. Ok what is the error then? The one I knew about was the birds.
  3. No it had truck arms. As did everything aside from Mopar and Bobby Allison built cars post 1973. They just didn’t pay attention.
  4. I think the bodyline is always there but doesn’t show well in pictures. At least it doesn’t have the more sculptured sides of a 73-75 car. What bothers me is the 75 rear bumper. And why is it no one can look underneath a Banjo Matthews car to see what it looks like BEFORE making the model. The same chassis could be made for almost all the Ford and GM cars from 73-80. What they have done MPC did 46 years ago. Put the wrong chassis under it. How hard would it be to do it right versus wrong? The tooling costs can’t be much different!
  5. I sanded the pinstripes before I cleared it. I know about the Skylark bird that shouldn’t be on a GS. But I like it on there. My dad had a 67 Skylark and I always liked the bird. Got a little further on it. Looks better on redlines .
  6. The pictures loaded wierd. When I got the car it had no paint on it. The body was near perfect though. Too bad the interior was all messed up. I painted it Shadow Turquoise. Still have to polish it. I may paint the rockers black. These cars looked cool that way.
  7. That’s a Lesabre for sure. Wildcat had big fender gills behind the front tires.
  8. Restoring this bomb. The body was beautiful. Someone glued felt all over the seats and floor. Did the best I could to save the seats. Scratchbuilt both manual trans consoles. Coming along pretty good.
  9. Does anyone make one of these.
  10. Hey Bill how much are his kits on average? I’ve spent some money on resin before.?
  11. I just got this from Steve excellent service.
  12. Ron where can you purchase AirTrax stuff?
  13. Ok now I see the goofiness on the frt view. That looks more Palmer like.
  14. Just together for a mock-up so far
  15. This doesn’t look that bad. Are you sure it’s a Palmer?
  16. They also look to long from the back of the rear wheelwells to the bumper. The Airtrax one is better but it’s a 73. 73 just doesn’t do it for me.
  17. Revell just seems to get everything a little off. Compare a Revell 74-76 Torino to a Johan car. The body doesn’t tuck under at the bottom like I should and the top of the windshield isnt right. Johan got it perfect. I’m a nut on body shape. An a boattail Riv is one of my top 5 cars. So if someone does it do it right. Or don’t.
  18. How bout a 71 with a separate trunk lid and grill. Include a 72 trunk lid and grill. This is the most neede car ever. To bad Johan isn’t still around. They were the only company capable of getting this Cars proportions right. Revell hasn’t a chance.
  19. Oh man really nice Mark. Love the truck arms!
  20. Ron have you built the 71? I just hate 73 bumpers on these cars.
  21. ‘‘This is a Revell Pro Modeler Daytona with a Polar Lights Talladega rollcage. Scratchbuilt Frt bars and shock mounts. Lowered and PPP tires and wheels. Don’t remember who’s decals. Not very good decals but here it is.
