  1. Revell just seems to get everything a little off. Compare a Revell 74-76 Torino to a Johan car. The body doesn’t tuck under at the bottom like I should and the top of the windshield isnt right. Johan got it perfect. I’m a nut on body shape. An a boattail Riv is one of my top 5 cars. So if someone does it do it right. Or don’t.
  2. How bout a 71 with a separate trunk lid and grill. Include a 72 trunk lid and grill. This is the most neede car ever. To bad Johan isn’t still around. They were the only company capable of getting this Cars proportions right. Revell hasn’t a chance.
  3. Oh man really nice Mark. Love the truck arms!
  4. Ron have you built the 71? I just hate 73 bumpers on these cars.
  5. ‘‘This is a Revell Pro Modeler Daytona with a Polar Lights Talladega rollcage. Scratchbuilt Frt bars and shock mounts. Lowered and PPP tires and wheels. Don’t remember who’s decals. Not very good decals but here it is.
  6. I want a 71 or 72 isn’t the Airtrax a 73 big bumper car?
  7. Just wondering. My stupid self never ordered his Boatail Riv when I had the chance. Wondering if it will ever be made again.
  8. Man I love it,those slit taillights on a 68 and ram air scoops hidden between the Headlights on a W30. Doesn’t get much sexier. You did this justice!!
  9. Great idea
  10. So are those the 19” rims with your additional black and red sheets then the 23” tires?
  11. I be been really in to greens lately. This is absolutely stunning. Well done sir! Where did you get the tires.
  12. But a Toro or Eldorado was a kick ass open road car. 500lbs.ft. Torque and frt drive made for an awesome highway cruiser. Not a corner burner at all however.
  13. Nice build that has held up well for a 30 year old build.
  14. Those are Weld wheels. Mikes decals now has them in resin. ThePPP 5 slot that is called a weld is more like a Clements wheel.
  15. Exactly a few guys tried it in NASCAR but they said no to it.
  16. A few USAC guys ran them out the back in the early 70s. Part of hat makes the car cool. Wierd how they ran them under the axle too.
  17. My dad did that to me with a 67 Skylark. I loved that car.
  18. I wish the model was done a little better.
  19. That’s what color this one was. It was too boring for me so I made my own color.
  20. Thanks Ron that was a ton of work and parts are unobtainium.
