  1. Or close enough to done. Gotta paint the fuel cap and add a couple small things yet.
  2. JDs interior done
  3. I think Mike is going to. Figures as these aren’t quite correct. That’s always my luck.
  4. Rear sway bars were not used on stock cars back then. They wouldn’t allow the inboard tire to plant properly coming off corners
  5. Those laid down nice especially for going over flat. Nice job
  6. A little engine work done
  7. That was the car Terry Link was driving that was involved in the crash that killed Tiny Lund. That was a stock chassis rebodied from this car
  8. The car was Richard Browns. This is the only picture I’ve ever seen of it. Decals would be a custom thing
  9. Ok I see that’s a wierd situation to have to deal with.
  10. Save that chassis for building this had a Lemans nose
  11. Can I give you a piece of advice? Next time you want to decal a flat car put gloss clear on it. Then decals. Then flat clear over all of it. The decal film will disappear better because decals stick better to smooth glossy surfaces.
  12. Lots of little engine area stuff. Some interior stuff too. Biggest is I don’t like the grille. It’s not right at all. I’m going to try and scratch a better one. I’m not cutting the old one until I’m satisfied I can build a better one.
  13. Couldn’t have said it better myself!
  14. Decals done
  15. Not yet if you look at photos most cars had them on until 68-68 seasons.
  16. I like this one a lot. Well done
  17. If you ever tried using a 69 qtr on a 68 you find out right away. They discontinued 68s long before 69s years ago.
  18. One other most most often overlooked difference in a 68-69 Chevelle. Where the back of the qtr panel is cut for the bumper is straight up and down on a 69 and slants forwards at the bottom on a 68. The bumper ends a shaped accordingly too.
  19. Those would be helpful too.
  20. Mark are you on wastebook at all? There is some great vintage nascar groups on there.
