  2. It is hard to do a wash (darker colour in low spots) on the darkest colour there is,... but I have had good results using graphite powder to highlight the raised parts,... I use a Q-Tip to rub the powder onto the chassis,... Doesn't take much I've had this tube for about 25 yrs. (just started modelling again 3yrs, ago) Cheers

  10. Yawn inspiring ...for sure Fred My parents actually had one of those back in the day 4 door hatch, front wheel drive Talk about under powered... It sounded like a herd of gerbils in a blender and would pull to the right,.. when you punched it from a stop! Make a nice sleeper tho Cheers **(no gerbils were harmed in the typing of this post)

Looking good there Mike re; hinging rear gate.. you might want to look at reverse hinging it... tube and wire on the gate and receivers inside on the roof? doesn't look like there is much meat left on the door to fit receivers just a thought That there is a lot of engine crammed in that there hole Cheers

  24. Bench looks good... just be careful not to get a pressure treated splinter from those legs!?! You might want to run some gussets at the tops too (keep 'em from gettin' wobbly)
