  1. Loved this journey, thanks for sharing the build in such detail!
  2. That yellow came out orange on my screen! But it is a beautiful car and an excellent build!
  3. Its a cool car and an excellent build!
  4. Certainly a cool tribute build!
  5. Fantastic build! Nice colour combo and those wheels look very smooth for 3d printed...
  6. That's a lovely looking r34, i also have that on the bench, hope mine turns out as good as yours did!
  7. The pInt work doesn't look bumpy to me, looks like a cool build!
  8. Very nice! I have this on the bench too, its a neat little kit. Nice collection of beemers!
  9. Wheels are fine as they are! Great build, paint job came out nice ans smooth!
  10. Nice tuner! Great stance, and love that interior!
  11. Im still undecided on that, but leaning toward just finishing as is....
  12. This was sanded (carefully) from Tamiya Wet and dry 1000 grit, 1500, 2000, then Micromesh 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000 & 8000. Then Tamiya compounds Coarse, Fine & finish. The first 2 images show how shiny I got it. It is "scuffed" and scratches, but with a clean shine. Its not perfect, as the bumpy areas were not sanded thouroughly to avoid burn through. I did actually burn through in 1 bit, the last 2 photos show the burn through and the prep to re-coat this area... Happy so far!
  13. The Body was coated with Tamiya Aerosol metallic black, it seemed to go OK (first pic). But the clear coat - Tamiya Clear Aerosol did not go down so well. The last pictures you see here are all after micromesh (3200 to 8000) then Tamiya polishing system Coarse, Fine, Finish. I'm not happy with the result, but its not the end of the world, I'll be finishing the kit as is. Next up is masking and the trim parts...
  14. So now the interior, chassis and engine are assembled, just waiting to get started on the body shell! Wish me luck, my clear coating has been awful recently...
  15. Thats a neat charger!
