  4. Yes it does, thanks. I was hopeing the sleeper was a double bunk. Appreciate the help! Nice truck by the way. Where did you get the Texas plate?
  5. Here's where it's at right now... Need to finish it one of these days...
  6. Unfortunately, a lot of people won't, and they die. It only takes 6 inches of moving water to sweep a car away...
  7. Is the back wall of the Lonestar completely enclosed? Or is it like the ProStar and goes to the bottom of the roof fairing? Thanks for any help!
  8. I have the sudden urge to work on my stretched hearse. Unfortunately I have to finish the other 10,000 projects as well...
  9. The thing that bothers me most Wayne, is that a lot of people will ignore the warnings and try to drive throughdeep and/or swiftley moving waters. Many people die from drowning, and police and fire rescue have to risk their lives to keep them from drowning. For now, west central Missouri has clear weather predicted until Sunday.
  10. Awesome to see it done Tom! It definitely looks like a winner. Looking forward to seeing the trailer built!
  11. FINE! I'll make a scale phone book as well as getting the canopies done! PICKY PICKY PICKY!!! To be honest Harry, I was laughing so hard when I read what you wrote I couldn't breath...
  12. Finally got Batman & Robin to make an appearance. They sat down and didn't want to get back out... And no Harry... I still haven't done the canopies. Soon Harry, soon...
  13. I've been painting the figures, just waiting for them to dry...
  14. Nice idea, but it wouldn't work for me... Those M&M's wouldn't have a snowballs chance in Hawaii of lasting long enough to help steady my hand! But now that you mention it... I gotta make a trip to the dollar store, I NEED CHOCOLATE!!!
  15. It's great that your brother is willing to let you stay in the house. I've known a couple of friends who's family expected them to pay or get out. It's always a blessing having family that cares.
  16. That is absolutely beautiful Tom!!! Looking forward to seeing the trailer built. you're definitely in the home stretch on this, and I need to stop trying to over detail that mess I'm building! Keep it going, it's really awesome!!!
  17. I wanted to send out a special thank you to Keone for all the stuff he sent me for this truck, and never asked me for anything in return. Thank you my friend, you are a great person and truly caring modeler!
  18. Thanks Tom. Still adding little details to it. I redid the map holder because the first one looked terrible. I got the baseball cap painted and glued it to the dashboard next to the sunglasses. Looking forward to seeing yours finished as well. I keep looking at it for ideas that I can use in my build, so feel free to steal any idea you would like to use!
  19. Had a "Widowmaker" heart attack at the age of 49, leaving me only 38% of my heart undamaged, and I have COPD from years of smoking. My legs cramp and stiffen if I sit at my desk where I build and go online, but that is probably a result of old age. It's funny how you think you're indestructable as a kid, only to learn that all those stupid stunts I did as a kid have come back to haunt me!
  20. Feeling worn out from all the little holes you have drilled? Tired of dreaming about the little details you've added? Have you broken more than one drill bit? Here at Rivet Counters rest Home, you can sit back and relax without having to deal with all those pesky little rivets! We have a pool where you can swim in comfort, a 65 inch wide screen TV (we will not show any movies like "Smoky and the Bandit", the residents try to count the rivets on the truck, and then argue whether there were 2230, or 2240), and we have the state of the art padded room for the counter who just can't stop. For reservations call 1-800-RIVET-ING This truck is a masterpiece! Really enjoying the work you're putting into this build, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next update!!!
  21. Thanks Jarda!!! I'm doing what I can to get this thing to look good. I do love this kit, it's one of the best that I have ever worked on. and I would recomend it to anyone who wants to build a great kit! Thanks again!!!
  22. Thanks Charlie! No... didn't feel evaporated. But I did have a problem when I plugged it into a 220 volt outlet instead of a 120...
