  1. Nice job on the resto Steve. I love '57 Chevy's. Enjoy building the replica as well, and post pics of it when you do! Thanks Jon and Dan for the help in finding the paint I need! I'll have to order some and get the build going! You guys are cool!
  2. Thanks Rick! It was really easy to build though... I'm trying to catch up on building and other projects that need finishing. I got kinda burnt out with models for awhile. Thanks again, I really do appreciate the feedback!!!
  3. I've bought a kit of my first car, but it's hard finding paint for it. It was a '68 Dodge Charger with Ansen style wheels G-60-15 front, L-60-15 in back, had a nose down rake, and painted a light-to medium metallic green. Fortunately Revell came out with the '68 kit... I almost started to modify the '69. Here's a pic of a '68 with the same color... Mine didn't have the black stripe on the back though.
  4. Awesome build! The hearse you are building is known as a "limousine hearse". Are you going to add the rear side doors? I like Greg's idea... Poor surfer trying to make some cash so he can afford to buy a casket, turn it into a smoker, and make the hearse the ultimate tailgater...
  5. It's looking awesome Janne!!! This is gonna be a really well built project, and I'm looking forward to seeing more! As for the rivet counting... There goes my membership to become a rivet dancer!
  6. I finally got the one diecast car I've been wanting for a looooonnnngggg time... The ZZ Top Cadzilla set from Hot Wheels. It had the box, the booklet, The 1/24th scale car, the 1/64th scale car and a title that can be filled out.
  7. That is awesome! Where did you get the Cragar wheels? Nice job!
  8. Thanks Douglas! It really isn't perfect... I spent most of that time on the paint, and for once got lucky. I appreciate the compliment! Thank you very much Robert!!! As I said though, I was lucky it came out as well as it did.
  9. I am enjoying!!! Very COOL!!!
  10. Thanks Mark!!! It's good to you're still around! This was a Revell kit that didn't state that it was a snap together... I found out after I test fit some parts. Strange but true... Hope everything is good for you and yours buddy, and may your models all be perfect!
  11. Have you thought about developed 35mm film for window tint? Nice work on the build. It'll be perty cool when you get done with it!
  12. Yup... Snapped away to model truck land... Thanks for the compliment!
  13. Thanks Mike! I like seeing less chrome on trucks. The orange paint on the engine wasn't what I really wanted, but since I didn't have Caterpillar yellow, I thought that it would be better than sunny yellow...
  14. That is toooo COOL!!! I can't wait to see more...
  15. WOW!!! I couldn't tell that you added a Starliner roof to a Galaxy body! Nice job!!!
  16. Nice work on this truck! I didn't realize I titled my S-10 project the same as yours, so now I'll change mine to lessen the confusion... Sorry about that. I do like your work on this truck though, It's given me inspiration for mine! Keep up the good work!!!
  17. .
  18. The F-1 car engine looks awesome! Your detailing skills are great. I think it'll be cool when finished, and I myself can't wait to see it! I love the Nomad! Laying the windshield back like that really sets it off. Another build that is gonna be awesome when finished!!! Keep up the great work on your builds!
  19. AWESOME!!! I was thinking about building one after I saw this one on E-Bay... I will DEFINITELY be watching this build!!! Nice work so far!
  20. I was just about to break open my piggy bank and go buy the Road Runner... Bummer. Beautiful job on the mural! I never would've noticed too many trim pieces on the Nomad. Looking forward to seeing more of this!
  21. Now THAT is icy!!! Nice color on that!
  22. That is different! I've never seen one of those before...
  23. Awesome!!! I love those old drag racers! This should be great...
  24. Looks great Stewart! Looking forward to seeing more!
