  1. Ahhhh MAN! You mean I could've spent TONS more money with this guy instead of saving it buying from someone CHEAPER?!? Dang it!!! When I think of all the money I could've flushed down the toilet...
  2. Thanks for the info Steve! I gotta figure out how to mount the engine, but I figure I'll cut the trans mount from the Monogram kit and add it to the snap kit. I've cut out all the fake engine molding from the frame and body. I mounted the front suspension from the Mono kit in such a way that it lowered the front and looks pretty good. I've painted the body black, and I plan to order the '76-'77 Gold special edition decal set(if they will work for 1/24th scale) from Keith Marks. Thanks again for the info, I'll now know to watch for the shaker scoop.
  3. Great job on the trim! This is definitely shaping up to be an excellent build! Looking forward for the next update!
  4. Cool! I've got 2 of those kits I'm working on. 1 is box stock, the other is like yours. I did a little work on mine today, and had to modify the '77 nose to close the gap between the hood and nose. Did yours have the same issue? The first one is gonna be straight out of the box, and painted gold, and the second is going to be black and have the screaming chicken decals and German style name decals (kinda like a "Bandit Mobile" for the family). I never saw the original Type K's, but I did see an after market one on the street. I had read somewhere that a California company would turn anyone's Firebird/Trans Am into a Type K if you had the money. Nice work on the build. I hope mine turns out as well!
  5. I saw the title and I couldn't pass up looking at this build... I hope you put a safety strap in for Flash! Nice job on this... I LOVE IT!!!
  6. Cool! I like what you've done so far and I can't wait to see more!
  7. Good looking cars! A friend of mine had a 69 442 and we had a blast cruising it. Keep up the good work!
  8. Hmmmmm... I don't know Kevin. I think you need to send those to me... I'd be happy to "dispose" them for you. Nice work!!! I'm looking forward to seeing the Merc when you you get done.
  9. Awesome work Mike! I'm enjoying the build immensely! Looking forward to seeing more.
  10. That is really nice Chris! Seeing your Pete and everybody else's truck builds is making me want to work on my Freightliner project. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished project!

  12. Those are cool! I wouldn't mind having a few of those myself!
  13. Sorry Rick... I just got done talking to Steve that day on IM and his name was stuck in my head. You did an excellent job on this though, and it is COOL!!!
  14. Awesome Steve! I hope mine turns out that well! Love the look.
  15. Looks good Dave! I think the slicks that are on there work. As for a body that'll be cool to see what you come up with. Nice job!
  16. AWESOME! This is turning out really well. I'm already looking forward to the next update!
  17. Nice job on the Magnum Bob! Now if I could finish mine sometime...
  18. I agree with Erik, But I would move the roof rack forward. Looks good!
  19. I live east of Wichita Ks. in Mo., so if I see it, I'll get ahold of a friend of mine who is a deputy sheriff, and I'll stay with the truck until my friend arrives.
  20. Awesome Bruce! The '57 Chevy to '57 Pontiac is nicely done, so I have faith that this one will be extraordinary!
  21. Coolness!!! Looking forward to the update!
  22. I'll have to keep an eye on this one. I have the Revell '55 and '56 F-100's, and I've always wanted to know how to make a wood bed for these trucks. Nice work so far!
  23. Update Jason!!! We need an update!!!
