  1. This is a web site for Hearses, ambulances, and soon to be added, police and fire. There is a model car section for builders as well, if you want to show off your builds. http://www.professionalcar.org/forums/ Come in and join the forum!
  2. Here's the body with the gold base coat, ready to be painted candy apple red... More to come...
  3. Looks good Terry! The paint looks perfect. What decals would you recommend for the Dodge Magnum? I've got the body painted, but I have no idea what department still has that car. Here's a pic... Thanks for any help...
  4. Hmmm... A Nascar lowrider... Cool speakers, where did you get them? Nice work you did on the rear fender wells. Looking forward to seeing more of this...
  5. Got the gold base coat painted on tonight. I'll post pics in the morning. Next I'll pick up a couple of cans of Testors Candy Apple Red paint, and paint it up. More to come soon...
  6. The Superbird decals, and the '71 Roadrunner decals are both printed on the same sheet. Both sets are 1/24th and are for Monogram kits...
  7. Thanks Mark! It's getting closer to the end now. I'll probably take a short hiatus after this...
  8. I think I'd be more worried about speedbumps...
  9. I got the hood to sit on the body. I thinned it down on the inside, and the front edge, and then tweaked it (both hoods, like the frames are warped also) a little bit.
  10. Rides real good! Although the back is sticking up a tad. When I glue it together, it'll sit correctly. The frames on the kits were warped a little. When I hold it together it sits perfect.
  11. Thanks James! I test fitted the engine over and over, just to make sure that everything fits just right, and now, after the engine is installed, the hood won't completely close... Oh well... What a modeler to do? I'll just have to customize the the hood!
  12. Oh... Okay! I mis-understood...
  13. Got the engine installed into the frame. Just need to add a couple of odds and ends to the engine and frame, and then the frame will be done! Here's the pics... All that's left is to finish the body... Now if it will stop raining and warm up a bit, I'd be done... More coming soon!
  14. Thanks Billy... But why would I mock it up? It's installed...
  15. Wow Dave! That was a lot of pictures! Thanks!!! I liked the Willy's Woody the best, and the V.W. woody was interesting. I'd have to say that the wildest would have to be the "Corvette woody"... That was different! This is some really great reference material!
  16. Actually, the decals are 1/24th... http://public.fotki.com/mofobow/plymouth/road_runner_decals/70_superbird/ They are specifically made for this kit, since it doesn't include half the decals on it's sheet.
  17. Michael is correct, the vinyl top is molded. I brush painted it with Testor's flat black paint.
  18. If you click on the name, it'll take you to his Facebook account...
  19. Thanks Mark!!! I can't wait to see it finished either!B)
  20. I just made an interesting discovery... I subscribed to Red Green on Facebook about 6 months ago. I was looking at my subscription this morning, and I found this: Red Green If you've ever seen my show, you gotta check this link. I think this is the first time in history where the 1/25th scale model is worth more than the full-sized version. Red Green's Possum Van - Model Cars Magazine Forum
  21. Best of luck to you Bob! I hope everything works out good for you and your family! We'll be here waiting for you to get back.
  22. Hey Billy... You forgot to post the pics of your mom chasing your dad down with a tire iron...
  23. Late 60's release I believe... $8 bucks is a great deal!
  24. Got the exhaust system built last night. I used the kit exhaust, but had to cut and splice to get it stretched. Here's the pics... I'l be building the carrier bearing tonight, and have pics of it soon...
