  6. Thanks all. I think it’s done, after the pics I went back and added a dot of chrome on the door locks and trunk lock, hope to do some better pics for an under glass post this weekend. Thanks again for following along.
  7. Thanks guys , got the body wet sanded and polished, did the foil work, and currently have 1/2 the glass in and the headliner painted. As always, thanks for looking.

I don’t know what you have on hand for paint, but I have a bottle of model master lacquer aluminum paint that I would do the panel with, then I would foil the outer trim, for the tail lamp rings I’d pool some Molotow into something and with a Tamiya ( or equivalent) small pointy swab I’d detail the rings, probably after hitting the ‘lenses’ with Tamiya clear red.
  9. I did a mercury body a couple weeks ago with the colorshift paint from scale finishes, iwata neo with a .35 needle, 20-30 psi, painted it as I would with a spray can, came out pretty good. I just used the same technique as my spray bomb jobs. I used Tamiya ts-13 clear
  10. Wow,,just wow, fantastic work on the trailer, and much like something I would do you had to build another model to continue working on the original model, haha.

  13. Thanks everyone, obviously this isn’t a show table build, so it’s a bit sketchy here and there, lol, but having fun just the same. Was back at this about 8 this morning, should be able to have it done in time.
  14. Ok, I think I’ve hit the limit of what I can get done today, about 7 and 1/2 hours into it, now I’m waiting for clear coats to dry on cab/hood , so here is where I end for tonight I think,

  17. Air bags painted, some clear on the cab, and the start of dash detailing…..
  18. Moving right along, got almost everything in color, next will be clear coating the body parts….., making good time so far…..
