Share your Model Building New Year Resolutions
tbill replied to Pierre Rivard's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
No plans/resolutions as to model building, when the mood strikes I build, when it doesn’t I may just look at stuff, or buy more stuff, or just not even go in the room. My day job has time limits and always going wide open, so I try to keep my hobby limit free. -
I went on Amazon and typed 1/25 parking garage in the search, a couple of different styles are available.

Oh man! This thing is super cool, you really threw me with the slant 6, I wasn’t expecting that! Great build!

Someone else recently had posted they got a parking garage display case, it intrigued me, so I looked into it, and got myself one, it showed up today, neat little display piece with lights .

How big is your... stash?
tbill replied to Pierre Rivard's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I’m about 10 years in since I started building again, I have just over 100 built models, and around 800 in the stash, and somehow manage to keep buying kits, but, in my defense (like I need to justify it to this crowd, haha), there is so much cool stuff coming back out, or completely new tooling coming out. Luckily, I restrict myself cars/trucks /big rigs, with the occasional air craft purchase , and a couple of farm tractors. Have a little bit of aftermarket parts, couple rig cabs and a few car bodies, wheels and tires, paint is also out of control, between rattle cans, small bottles and now pre thinned paint for air brushing……… -

Italeri FLC and container trailer
tbill posted a topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Finished this up the other day, used the FLC dump kit so I could use the day cab, modified the stacks ,scratched up a headache rack for it as well, and the container trailer got modified a bit ( fenders and lights), was a nice build with no surprises. As usual, thanks for looking . -
Thanks Bill, you are the search master!

Followed the build on this, gorgeous build.

So, I have one of these on the bench, and I’m curious if there is room for a pre wired distributor behind the blower/ in front of the fire wall. Obviously, I’m in the early stages of this kit, so thought I’d see if anyone had built this kit and added wires. I did try a search, but wasn’t able to find what I was looking for, so if I missed an obvious topic on this, I apologize. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Need purple color comparison if possible

Any pics would be fantastic, thank you. -
I glued it in before paint, it was a pretty good positive fit.

Thanks for the comments everyone, was a fun build, something different for me.

Holy cow, what a group of builds! Well done fellas! -
Thanks for the kind words everyone. It’s a nice kit, and is the version with PE, if you have one, get it on the bench, you’ll like building it.

Another recent completion, didn’t turn out as well as I would have liked, but it looks good on the shelf. Thanks for looking.

Finished this one Christmas morning. Used tamiya pearl green, wheels are from the Lindberg 66 chevelle kit ( these hubcaps were actually an option on 67-69 Camaros ) and amt parts pack red line tires. Nice kit, builds up well. As always, thanks for looking.

Finished this a few weeks ago, built one as a kid/teen, I think this one came out better, haha. Pretty nice kit for its age, and I think I’ll build a few more of these monogram classics kits, something a bit different from my normal muscle car and big rig projects . As always , thanks for looking.

Beautiful color , that’s really going to come alive with the chrome added. Cragers should look good on it as well.
