  1. Looking forward to seeing this progress
  2. Looking good, I love it when I get far enough along to start doing mock ups to see if reality matches my vision.
  3. Can’t leak if there is no oil in it, haha. I have a rolling chassis now, and a quick lopsided mock up to give a look at the colors together.
  4. Big deal, you built a bus, wanna impress me? Fill it with kids….. haha, just kidding Jeff, looking great man, can’t wait to see this in person! edit, to other readers, Jeff and I know each other quite well, so he knows I’m kidding…..
  5. Any local shows ? Can usually rent table space in the swap area. Do you have a local weekly or monthly general swap meet ? Local car shows usually have a vendor area as well. Maybe one of these could be an option.
  6. As mentioned earlier, the bubbles are from pools of paint gassing out the solvent ( ask me how I know…, lol), and also as mentioned earlier, if you’re close to the object, pretty much use warp speed. Close and quick will yield a fairly smooth layer of wet paint, but you can’t sight see when you do it, keep it on warp speed. Try it on a spare/scrap body and see how it comes out, cause once you nail the speed/closeness, it’s a game changer
  7. For me, it all depends on what I’m attaching. In my arsenal I have, testors liquid glue ( black bottle/red label), testors clear glue (white/clear bottle/blue label), evergreen canopy glue, and CA glue/thick. Again, depends on what I’m trying to attach, and to where/what
  8. More pre ordered model roundup goodness, lol
  9. So, have made some progress on this over the last few weeks, been picking away at it along with a few other projects. I did however make an error on the decals, I somehow swapped the right and left sleeper decals, still looks ok, but as soon as I realized, it was too late, haha. So anyway, here is my progress…
  10. Fantastic work so far! And agree that whatever you’re using for chrome paint looks dynamite.
  11. I normally hit that kind of stuff with 2000 grit and wet sand it a little at a time to see how it’s coming
  12. I normally have 3-6 going at any given time, in various stages, usually a big rig and a couple of cars/pickups. It’s good to have something to work on while paint or primer is drying.
  13. Great looking build! Love the way you did the wheels, and that color is gorgeous!
  14. What a great idea! Thanks for sharing that.
  15. Great looking vettes guys! I’ve got a C5 myself, 2004 commemorative edition convertible, I’m also the vette tech at the chevy dealer I work for, rule of thumb is, fall in, roll out, haha. My 1:1 and my scale version…
  16. Boy do I feel better now , my oldest one is around 7 years…..
  17. I used to think I didn’t do a good job if they didn’t roll, then after almost sending one off the bench due to rolling wheels, I adapted another line of thought….
  18. Unedited initial thought ‘ my god that’s beautiful’
  19. Oh man that’s looking good! Interior is gorgeous, love the seats!
  20. Ugh, sorry to see that happen, hopefully you can get back on track soon.
  21. Thanks all?
  22. Not going to lie, a mustang was not on my radar for that color, but now…… what color interior did you have?
