  1. And so it continues, went to the lhs to get some paint, and this followed me home….
  2. The colors actually match, just poor lighting on my bench….
  3. About the only difference in any of the C5 kits will be the wheels . For the most part, any C5 kit will get you a 2003, just depends on what wheels you use. I have a 1:1 2004 convertible, I don’t remember what kit I used, but it wasn’t a 2004, and I had to add body side moldings, also couldn’t find the correct wheels, but used some from a C6 kit that were close.
  4. You’re welcome, and thank you. I have a couple of the 71’s to build, I expect them to build up just as good as the 72 convertible did.
  5. As to engine color, if you can find a can of it, I use model master Nassau blue, if I remember when I get home tonight I’ll provide a pic of the 72 olds convertible I built a few years ago
  6. Looks like you cannot accept messages thru here…
  7. Thanks, it got a 3rd place at a show today, and wasn’t even going to take it, lol.
  8. Thanks, and prices weren’t as marked, got all the tires for a great deal, the new tool mustang was $18, got some great deals today…
  9. Hit a show today, got some cool stuff from the show, and a buddy dropped off the rat fink kits that he picked up for me a month ago, and I won a few awards too.
  10. Racing white is a pretty close match to ford Wimbledon white.
  11. I have way too many kits, and I know it, and yet I still buy more. Granted, I’ll never build them all, but I also get joy out of looking at them. I do have multiples of some kits, but they are my favorites, and I’ve built multiple versions of some of them already. I average 12 builds a year, so I am making progress….., last count I was around 800 kits or so, but that was a few years ago now, I should do another inventory ….
  12. Those cases were made by Gary Wallace of GW Trucks , he sadly, is no longer with us…..
  13. When I finish a big rig build, it goes in its own display case, as such, it’s also what I transport them in. Once they go to all the local shows, I’ll usually put them in my larger floor display cases, although those are almost full now.
  14. Thanks, I’m organized until I’m not, lol. Once I get this Mack truck done, I’ll get everything back in it’s assigned place, and start making a mess again……
  15. Every now and then, I have this much space,
  16. Oh what a mess I could make there! Hahaha…. nice set up!
  17. This table is 3 feet deep and 6 feet long, work space, not much……, hahaha
  18. You weren’t seeing things, whenever I use that metallic paint, my booth is covered in flake…. sweet paint job by the way, color really looks good on that body.
  19. Thanks, my spending spree has come to an end for awhile…..
  20. The original rat rod….
