a little more progress, engine bay is in body color and painted the chassis pan [which i may re-do], tried to emulate over spray underneath, but it's hard to do with a rattle can. thanks for looking....

this will be cool, i must say, i think it's cool that you are building the family fleet in scale one truck at a time

nothing picture worthy yet, but i have the frame about 90% assembled. color-wise, i'm thinking a green color, just a basic wrecker, nothing 'flashy', a new work truck look is what i am after.

i too look forward to seeing this take shape, should be a cool build.

nice displays guys Pat, that is indeed a thread spool rack, got it at wal mart and added rubber bands across the pegs to keep the bottles from falling off i like it cause the rows of bottles don't block the lower ones off, i can see all the colors without shuffling thru them all, plus the ends hold glues and putty tubes.

nice job on that combo, i like how you did the rack over the cab.

thanks guys Dennis, it's ribbon that i found at hobby lobby in the fabric department/section. it's a bit wider than i would have liked, but it was the closest thing i could find.
