  1. Very nice job John. That paint job looks beautiful, I bet the photos don't do it justice. How did you do the glass? And where are the tires and wheels from?
  2. The Pipe Organ-Vampire Dragster Club, a.k.a., The Pied Dragster Pipers. The cars each have an exhaust system tuned to a specific musical note and run in timed spurts to produce hypnotic tunes that lure their victims into a state of euphoric trust. I'd love to hear them all running at once.
  3. I used to think Red Bull's F1 cars looked pretty cool, that car at the top looks like someone moved the decals around and forgot where they went. That, or , the bean counters fired everyone in the art department and did it themselves, no 'flow' whatsoever. I know! It's a 'psych ops' thing, to disturb the drivers of other cars, in that case it works.
  4. JC, some really fine work, you're a trooper man (that took determination and stamina), the grill looks great.
  5. That's looking like a real engine bay JC, hope everything is going well!
  6. I've been relaxing by working on a AWB Mustang that's almost finished, lol. I get relaxation from modeling, most of the time. I just found out that the parts for the Barracuda where being shipped today!
  7. Thanks Carl, yes, there is a nice following for this build. Unfortunately I have nothing to report except that yes I am waiting for parts. There are actually other things I could be doing but I haven't. I Better get busy!
  8. Wow, thanks Dave, I appreciate that. Hope to have a progress update soon. Gene
  9. Very nice Joe! That color match looks spot on. I just got a can of Italian Red, can't wait to use it.
  10. Thanks Niko! I'm still working on it. I ordered a corrected frame and tub from Speed City Resin, should be here in a week or so, that sould make a huge difference.
  11. Should be awsome as a race car, can't wait to see it. What type/class car will it be?
  12. Beatiful work Ken, what does the paint job look like 1:1? Even better than it does on here? Does it have much depth?
  13. Looking good Niko, maybe someday I'll be able to bend plastic for a roll cage. Seat fits well.
  14. Looks good Paul, very nice, great color combo with the decals.
  15. Wow, most impressive Tim, quite amazing and beautiful pieces.
  16. The silver and white combo looks killer on that '57 Carl, very sharp build.
  17. The reservoirs and tail lights look really good JC. What did you use for the reservoirs? Ya, I love The Dark Knight.
  18. I thought Tamiya was foolproof, I'm crushed.
  19. Nice work JC, it's looking great.
  20. Nice job Blair. That wood looks really good.
  21. That looks great Carl! The paint job looks great and that color is excellent! I'm gonna be looking for that the next time I'm in a auto parts store. Is the interior the same color? Because it looks more blue in some shots. You did a good job on the chrome trim too, the time you took shows. The front grill and bumper look very nice and the rear bumper as well. How did you do the chrome for those? Is it the kit finish with maybe some semi-gloss clear? Overall excellent build my friend! Very cool wagon.
  22. I'll plod along Carl, and although at times it doesn't seem like it, I'm probably closer than I think. (Really?) Right now I have to take everything apart, clean off the Liquitape and see where I'm at again. Thanks for the encouraging words. There is another option for the frame and tub,........................................................................... (and it's on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Thanks Carl and Vince, I agree pic number two is where I want to be, I just have to get there, I'm in deep.
