  1. Nice work Carl. You are a credit to the hobby.
  2. Nice job Steve, lots of detail on the interior. Overall very nice for the first time out in years. Keep at it.
  3. One looks more detailed then the other Really great work.
  4. Really cool build Brad, I like this car a bunch. Incredible work on the front end.
  5. Andy, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! Here's what I came up with trying to figure out what you meant, ' Internet Personal Search.
  6. You got it right Niko! Did you measure for the holes you drilled into the cylinder heads? Or, use some kind of template/pattern?
  7. Thanks Niko, Thanks for taking the time to show your method, you get good results. What kind of adhesive do you use for this? Also, I changed my search parameters and got better results.
  8. Roger thanks for the very informative, useful info. Sounds doable. Bob, and , Andy, thanks for the info. I did a search prior to posting my question, which inspired me to ask the ' specific ' question that I have.
  9. ips? Andy, You mean the search box on this site? What does ips stand for in this case?
  10. Let me emphasize simple here, I don'rt want anything utilizing a bench vise etc,.... I'm currently working on the AMT Funny Car Mustang-GT kit, the headers are atrocious, so I'm going to try my hand at making some for the first time. Plastic, or , solder? Since I've never done this it seems that solder might be easier to work with? What are the key things I need to be aware of when making headers? Like how to make each side the same, etc,. Greatful for any help, thanks.
  11. Ya, I saw the bleed through. The clear coat is a great idea along the tape edges. Thanks.
  12. I'm not really that much a fan of this era Chevy truck, this truck however is awsome. Nice job Holley! Beautifully done. Ron, looking forward to your build. Thanks for the video Doc.
  13. That looks cool Steve. The wheels and tires are superb. How did you get that finish on the wheels? And, did the tires come as white walls, or , did you do that too?
  14. That looks great Niko, you say you used 'white' primer? It looks gray. Any how, the body looks very smooth and good detail remains. The panel lines look very 'real' even around the filler cap door, should look great with paint. Nice work.
  15. Angel, that looks really good. Exactly what steps did you use? I can't answer the question you posed because I'm where you are with all this. It sounds like they're saying to 'spray' a 'light' coat of clear on the whole surface you're working with after masking for the black. That would fill-in the seam along the edge of the tape? What kind of tape did you use?
  16. Looks cool Dennis, have fun with the airbrush! What are the power ratings on that Allison engine, do you know?
  17. Jeremy, how's this project going?
  18. Jeremy, any progress to report?
  19. Angel, any results from this yet? How did it turn out?
  20. Thanks Bill, that paint job that Bernard did is very nice.
  21. Yes, thanks Scott. Bill's link has 'a lot' of info on the FE engines.
  22. Brad, you're work is looking great. Love this car. Here's a photo I found, it was taken at 'Milan Dragway, August '71.
  23. Thanks you guys, I was worried enough about putting enamel over a laquer primer, much less adding a base coat, it seems to have worked so far.
  24. I'm testing some MM enamel pearls and metallics on spoons at the moment. All they have on them is a primer coat of Tamiya white. Should I put a base coat over the primer of silver, or , gold before top coat? Thanks!
  25. Cool! Thanks Bill. So is/was the 427 the only FE engine?
