  1. What's not to like? http://www.landspeed.com/
  2. Yep, there's 2 turkeys in your last picture. To his credit Dave Lee Travis, the DJ in the picture, did drive this thing to work for a while...
  3. Yeah, Lou's songs have pretty heavy content - but the NOISE those three made on the USA album... makes the dust float above the floor. Mid you, the 'H' song did have a very good influence on me as a teenager - after I heard it I thought 'why would anyone get into doing that?' - so I never did! Best version is on the 'Rock n' Roll Animal' live album.
  4. Welcome to the jungle - G&R!
  5. The heaviest song ever recorded?: Blood rack barbed wire Politician's funeral pyre Innocents raped by napalm fire
  6. Whole Lotta Rosie - AC/DC
  7. Maggie's Farm by Mr Zimmerman
  8. No problem, would love to see how yours turns out.
  9. This is great. One small niggle is that the rear cage legs appear to be floating above the parcel shelf, this deserves correcting on such a great model.
  10. Your colour choice looks great. It's not strictly a convertible as it's got no top at all now, so it's a roadster. I did like the bubble, but it's great to see your more practical solution
  11. It's a happy little thing, but 'awesome' didn't spring to my mind, not even in the singular. But I respect your enthusiasm, Curtis! PM sent
  12. You still see them on autotest cars and on drift cars today. Not for me!
  13. Tangled up in Blue - Bob Dylan. I kind of lived that song some years back, absolutely brilliant.
  14. I'm a Loser The Beatles
  15. There you are: They did other colours too I just discovered.
  16. I love this car, and the colour. As you'll most likely know, Hot wheels did a metallic purple one which is the colour I always thought the Bandit should be.
  17. The Airfix 1/12 Blower Bentley came in 'British Racing Green'
  18. Fritz von Opel having fun in 1928 - reached 143 mph in this rocket powered beauty.
  19. Lovely - but is it really wearing piecrust slicks on the rear? I still remember seeing a competition Cobra in the late sixties / early seventies sitting on pole on the grid at Silverstone then spinning when the flag dropped to start the race...
  20. Great job. What motor is that?
  21. Thanks for that also to Brett and Danno for filling in a missing bit of my education, We never really had a 'strip' like that in Solihull! I do know that a drag strip is a one way affair though!
  22. Kashmir - Led Zeppelin. I want this one played at my funeral (not that I'm in any hurry for that!)
  23. That's impressive!
