  1. And if you think I'm ready You may lead me to the chasm Where the rivers of our vision Flow into one another
  2. I'm sick and tired of hearing things from uptight short sighted narrow minded hypocrites
  3. We can't even think of a word that rhymes...
  4. Buffeting, buffeting....! Where is she now? And these (lifting bodies - no wings!) :
  5. I did wonder, Tulio. Including your mention of the resin version! Lets hope between us we haven't spoiled anyone's enjoyment, I really don't think there is a lot to go on out of our posts in the end. But you're right in that we have to be careful.
  6. It's all a blatant copy of a certain car! Or maybe two, there is a bit of Corvair in there now I come to think...
  7. From one pedant to another - Well Said!
  8. It's ironic. How much is a flying B-17 worth now? But then I guess there are the running costs to consider!
  9. It looked like all the cars were going a lot faster than that, also Stewart was very close behind another car.
  10. Bill, those planes make me sad. Once so proud. Especially those B-52s and that poor old Gooneybird....
  11. The 'Flying Bedstead'. Apparently the test pilot used to say 'D-don't talk to me about that b-b-bl__dy thing!' It shook a lot!
  12. As the Luftwaffe found to their cost! (German accent ) 'Does anyone want to buy a Starfighter? Then buy an acre of land and wait for a while...'
  13. Nope, a rocket by definition has a rocket engine - this has jet engines and Wheels! 'A rocket engine, or simply "rocket", is a jet engine[1] that uses only stored propellant mass for forming its high speed propulsive jet. Rocket engines are reaction engines and obtain thrust in accordance with Newton's third law.'
  14. What's not to like? http://www.landspeed.com/
  15. Yep, there's 2 turkeys in your last picture. To his credit Dave Lee Travis, the DJ in the picture, did drive this thing to work for a while...
  16. Yeah, Lou's songs have pretty heavy content - but the NOISE those three made on the USA album... makes the dust float above the floor. Mid you, the 'H' song did have a very good influence on me as a teenager - after I heard it I thought 'why would anyone get into doing that?' - so I never did! Best version is on the 'Rock n' Roll Animal' live album.
  17. Welcome to the jungle - G&R!
  18. The heaviest song ever recorded?: Blood rack barbed wire Politician's funeral pyre Innocents raped by napalm fire
  19. Whole Lotta Rosie - AC/DC
  20. Maggie's Farm by Mr Zimmerman
  21. No problem, would love to see how yours turns out.
  22. This is great. One small niggle is that the rear cage legs appear to be floating above the parcel shelf, this deserves correcting on such a great model.
  23. Your colour choice looks great. It's not strictly a convertible as it's got no top at all now, so it's a roadster. I did like the bubble, but it's great to see your more practical solution
  24. It's a happy little thing, but 'awesome' didn't spring to my mind, not even in the singular. But I respect your enthusiasm, Curtis! PM sent
