  3. He's gotta be a Chevrolet guy! That's like me having too many American planes in my stash of Luftwaffe stuff!!! Still, it was a cool post that I had to think about for a sec. LOL
  4. ...............and he delivers!! Cool! Never knew this stuff existed until I ran this thread!
  5. WOW Brad!!!!!! WOW!! I'm a sucker for detail and you've more than got that covered!!
  6. This stuff is cool!!! You can build the hek out of this stuff, make a car/truck look just like you want it and not even come close to what you would have spent on the real thing!!! Been there/ done that!! Good looking models Jeremiah!!!
  7. Mister you get an A+ for imagination on this AND the other one youre building. Sheesh! You missed your calling dude! You should have been a model kit designer!!!
  8. I'd be down with any of em! Bring em on buddy!
  9. I like all those Chris but I really like the Fairlaine!!!
  10. I've got a Monogram Dodge Challenger and a 70 Cuda that I'm going to be doing that with. The Challenger will be a restoration towards the original build correcting some of the mistakes I made some 30 years ago and the Cuda will be an extended project. I just flat don't know that the hek I was thinking when I built that one!
  11. I'd like to see the pics when you get around to it Dan!
  12. Now that's clean!! Nice job!
  13. LOL!!! This thing just keeps snowballing!! Good job with the flames Ira!!
  14. Ok .........you win. It wont be until the latter part of this next year or possibly in 15 but it's on the drawing board. I have some Black Magic canopy/ wheel masks for it and some PE. I've had this kit for almost 15 years now.
  15. I saw something pretty similar to those at .....of all places......a Christian book store!
  16. Hey neighbor! I'm just down the road from you! Glad to have you here!
  17. Thanks Harry!! I had a blast building this engine. I built / painted it as though it were a real one. I even got a block of wood to make a makeshift engine stand! Next I installed the accessory drive gearbox/ supercharger onto the engine assy and installed the exhausts. The exhausts started out with a coat of metallic silver followed by a thinned coat of rust to allow some of the metallic features to show through and finally coated with a dry brushing of ground up black pastel. and the other side!
  18. That is definitely out of the ordinary!!! I've never seen that until now. Cool stuff!!!!
  19. Here's the inverted Jumo 213 V-12 after a coat of paint and a light wash. Being an Aires engine its packed with detail without a single part installed on it. after that I began assembling the accessory drive box and supercharger. Again a coat of RLM 02 with a deep wash. This part of the engine was a blast to build: The other side: This Aires update set was on target with lubrication lines for the supercharger, fuel filters, etc. This update set has just about ALL the details.
  20. I may do that one just simply because its a little different. I'll see if I can dig through my stash today!
  21. Every now and then we modelers meet someone who can think "outside the box". This here fits that mold. Well assembled, painted and weathered Harry!
  22. Keep it coming bud! I'm on the edge of my seat here!
  23. Harry: Ain't it though! I've gotta say that the stuff coming out of this thread is entertaining to say the least! Danny:Thats another cool one posted!
