  1. Very well put together and painted Keith. I've just started diving into the world of armor and am finding a newfound respect for this genre of building.
  2. I'm surprised that I missed this one as I just love these aircraft. The latest Revell release seems to be one of the better kits it seems like and your take on it sure is a good one Keith.
  3. Going with a late war camo pattern and I've got the secondary color & color modulation applied and have done some additional work on the road wheels. I'm finding that building armor is pretty enjoyable.
  4. I built the Revell '54 Chevy Panel Wagon a while back and I thought that was going to break me from purchasing older kits. Then I purchased the old Revell '56 Ford F-100. Good grief.......that one hurt. lol In short......I feel your pain brother.
  5. I can't imagine taking something like this on Fabrizio. Mind blowing stuff man.
  6. After I took a second look at it, I just didn't feel right about it .....so.......I added a little something to the mix. Before: aaaand after: Then I started working on the second spare road wheel and have these 1/25 scale lugnuts just laying around in my spares bin and they are working out perfectly for stuff like this.
  7. The amazing work continues and that is one heckuva good deal on them sending you the updated parts for free. This is going to be a dang "modern art masterpiece" when you get all done with it bud.
  8. That is just crazy about the two different textures in the back on this ship Dave ......but........as per your good skillset.......you've managed to yet again overcome this obstacle. You pulled the trim along the rear of the ship in dang near flawless fashion as well. Your efforts here are to be commended buddy. This is just off the charts.
  9. Interesting take on this build Andria. What did you use for the color on this build?
  10. Your progress is coming along nicely on this one bud. Look forward to seeing you on it when you get back to it. What I did NOT know is that this ship is still around as was mentioned by Mike and Dave. I'd love to take a tour through it one day.
  11. Saw this a couple of days ago and thought I commented on it......but......I guess not. You pulled this build off in very good style with that signature paint work of yours Bob. Beautiful bike and love all of the detail work that you put into it. I know what you're talking about with having a kit like....forever and then making your way around to it. I've got too many going like that. lol
  12. I installed the wire screens over the air/ radiator intakes and am scratch building a retaining device for a spare road wheel. Here's the start of all of that as well as showing off the screen work. It doesn't show in the pictures too much but I have bent the screens between all of the spars to simulate being stepped on.
  13. I've heard a lot of good things about the detail in Roden kits. It's their instructions that get a lot of negative attention. This one is shaping up nicely with the addition of the Hobby Link parts Warren. LOTS of detail work going into this.
  14. You are piecing this one together in good fashion Warren. Will be watching this one.
  15. And now.......the road wheels and track tension set up starts..... I procured a spare kit so I could do a road wheel build up as an assembly to act as sort of a jig to run the track around and set up the proper sag in the tracks that Tobi and others have mentioned. Never realized just how many road wheels these things have. 16 in all per side??
  16. A sharp lookin' ride in just about anybody's book. Came together in good fashion Kaci. 👍
  17. Thanks Bob!! I've been more gone than here over the last few days due to increasing demands at work and electrical problems with my house but it looks like I'm back on the sunny side of both situations now fellas. I did manage to get everything in primer on a few days ago as I had an extra hour or so that I hadn't planned on available to me for benchtime. I also finally broke a jig in that I got from a friend on another forum and mounted the Panther on top. This is going to be a VERY useful tool.
  18. An outstanding build of something that is not seen in the modeling world all the time. I think what I like most about this build is all the fabrication work that you put into it to bring it up a level.....or two. Excellent scale modeling Fabrizio.
  19. Right??!! It'd have to be a pretty small and simple kit to be completed in that short amount of time.
  20. I was absent for a short time and come back and see this beauty all finished up now. I just love the sinister looks of these trucks all dressed up like this Warren and this build of yours looks just that part. Love the details and the paint work you put into this bud.
  21. Given your skill set......this one should be fun to watch Dave. She's lookin' good already.
  22. I've seen these kinds of kits before (I think it was the A6M2 Mitsubishi Zero) and that one turned out to be a real treat to watch come together. This one will be a thing of beauty I have no doubt. Looking forward to seeing more of this one.
  23. A perfect build with all of the details and good-looking paint to boot Bob. You did a pretty snazzy job with the Alclad chrome as well. Some good work brother.
  24. DANG Bob!!! Man this is some really neat stuff that you've got going on in this thread brother. You've definitely got a knack for painting and detailing up these small figurines and I've gotta say that this is truly inspiring work. Glad to see you back in the communities good buddy. You've been missed.
