  1. When I open a kit I put my tires in the plastic the kit came in and have never had any trouble. Richard
  2. I was eight years old. It was a Mig 15 kit that had just come out. Second kit was a F-86 Sabre. Did not know much about glue and neither one of the kits would stand up on the struts and wheels.
  3. My job now is to stay out of trouble and to not get my wife too mad at me. Just retired December 28th and still not used to being at home all the time. Richard
  4. Funnycars are real nice looking, but I love the Ferrari.
  5. Your models of old stockers are some of my favorites (no matter what site they are on). By the way that little hill is the view I have out my livingroom window. You havn't done a PP Hillclimb Toranado by chance(I know it is not a Nascar car, but just maybe?). Richard
  6. That is one cool idea on the taillights. There are no words for the paint job. Richard
  7. It came out great. When I built the same kit(thousands of years ago) by the time I was through I think I became a Ferrari fan. You did a super job(unlike mine). Richard
  8. It looks like a show winner to me. Love it all(especially the paint,WOW). Richard
  9. I always enjoy your magazine covers. Time for a new issue isn't it(hint, hint)?
  10. From the stance it has and the way it is looking so far I have a feeling it is going to be cool no matter what color you paint it.
  11. It looks like you had a very busy(and good) year. How did you do that(not one bad model)?
  12. A Revell 32-3window coupe and something I have wanted for 50 years or so"RETIREMENT". I now have alittle more time to play all those kits I have bought over the years(somewhere around 500 or so). 2008 will be a different year. Richard
  13. I say she is a real model. Not sure about the car though.
  14. That has to be the nicest, sweetest 56Vic buildup I have ever seen. Richard
  15. Thank you and yes.
  16. The car is cool but the interior is fantastic. How did you do the piping without any glue marks? Also is that a turn of the century Jack in the Box ball ? Richard
  17. I must be getting old and set in my ways because I enjoy the mag just the way it is. The first thing I always do though is look for the "Ask G & J " pages. Then the kit reviews. And last but not least the shows. My bigest problem is waiting for the next issue.
  18. I bought the same AMT 62 T-bird kit and mine was missing the whitewall inserts , so I figure I will use some old parts box tires and wheels and make some sort of mild street rod. I still look in the box every now and then hoping the whitewalls will magically show up. Not yet.
  19. This is probably not what you want to hear but those are history. Put them under a clear cover and enjoy just the way they are. One cool find.
  20. They should release the diecast here first because there are quite a few here in the Springs(at least three more in the red that mine is). Most of them are in pretty good shape. My heart went pitterpatter when I saw the profile of the diecast.
  21. Hey guys. That's my Cadillac your making jokes about. I drive a 1988 Horizon that I put 20dollars of gas in every two weeks. I even have guardrail stripes on one side(accident two years ago). Okay, so it does have a little rust(matches the color of the car).
  22. OooYeah! Thank you for the out of site pics.
  23. If she is anything like my grandkids she will love it because YOU did it. Paintjob is fantastic.
  24. One day? Are you sure? What color of blue is that and did you paint the whitewalls? Very cool. Richard
  25. Wow this is so much fun. I now have a record of two correct and six wrong. It's kind of like hitting yourself on the finger with a hammer once a week. If only I could leave the hammer alone.
