Mike. Thanks for sharing the pictures. It was indeed a great show. They said there were over 1000 models !! Congrats to John Teresi for his receiving two staff picks and to Ira for the award of the most outragous model with his Corvette and Hauler, that he shared the build with us here on the forum, great job. Art Laski's Willys paint job and chassis is incredible. As always is the case, seeing these models in person is even more spectacular. It was great meeting up with old friends and making new ones. The show is one of the best. Steve Prideaux

Thank you all for the kind comments. I do not have any inprogress pictires. The front end was made from ten thousandts styrene sheet with the rivet detail by using a seamstruss tracing wheel from Michael's fabric store. The first time I put some lacquer primer on it, the plastic warped badly. I had to put another layer of plastic on the front end and use acrylic primer. Thanks for asking.

Greg, If you google- star models resin and click on star models home page, you should be able to get the drop down menu to work.

I talked to Steve Kohler, of Star Models and he said that he is not getting any more R&R resin and he has about 1100 pieces in his stock. He does update his list, as the last individual item is sold. So you had better buy it if you want something. No word on anyone continuing casting any of their products.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I really appreciate them. I am starting on the intake and exhaust setups for this car. It has run with a 4barrel Holley, and a 2-Holley 2 barrels set up. Which do you guys think ? I really like the 2-2bbl. scoop setup. thanks Steve

Bill, that is a beautiful Challenger model. Great finish. Did you find a sealer to use on it? I have been experimenting with acrylic paint for my finish, but have not gotten the results I am trying for. Again, your model is outstanding. Thanks for the input. Steve

I saw this car at Bonneville and decided to try and do a model, to resemble it. I started with a 53 Chevy. ( the only model I had that was close to the Buick. I took two Chevy straight 6 engines, to make a Buick straight eight. I still have to build the intake and headers for the engine. I am going to try and paint it to resemble bare metal, (any ideas on how to paint it ? All help and comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks

I got one! The AMT Ford LN-8000 Race Car Hauler!
Steve Prideaux replied to schwack's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I am sure glad they re-released the Ford Hauler again. I am currently building a rendition of the Sox And Martin hauler with both 65 altered wheelbase Plymouths. Several years ago, I built the Hauler with a C600 cab with a sleeper and 2- 69 Ford Mustangs. The new release looks to be the same as the original. Steve Prideaux -
John, Fremont Racing Specialties, made the 4dr Anglia/Prefect with the traditional Anglia front end and also with the Prefect front end. They do show up on EBay. Joe, at Fremont has not made them for several years. He also made a chopped top 2dr body.
