  1. some of my favorites.
  2. Chuck how do we order these from you? I built one from the Perry's Resin body many years ago. The Pro Sportsman chassis will work well Steve Prideaux
  3. Wayne, Fantastic built, The detail, is incredible! great job. Steve Prideaux
  4. Straight 6, from the AMT 37 Chevy, built as a late 60's altered thanks, Steve Prideaux
  5. Brian, Excellent build. the driver figure, really sets it off!! Thanks for sharing it with us. Steve Prideaux
  6. My tribute to Arnie Beswick, thanks Steve Prideaux
  7. I just received my order from Speed City Resin. The service was outstanding and the product, the 65 Plymouth altered wheel base body, chassis, interior tub etc. is of very high quality casting. It was relatively flash free, or very thin. The parts fit together well. and the resin looks like styrene. I have several other resin castings from other casters that do not even compare. I highly recomend this product. thanks Steve Prideaux
  8. This could have been expensive too!!!
  9. J C, I did check out your gallery. Those are fantastic builds. thank you for the kind comments. Bill thank you for the comments. I would not have wanted to be the driver of that transport. Thanks again. Steve Prideaux.
  10. The 1961 Corvette, was the last, to have wide whitewall tires. In 1962 the whitewall from the factory, was 1 inch to 1 1/14 inch wide. Steve Prideaux
  11. Mark, Very nice build, It still looks great. Steve Prideaux
  12. I would like to see decals for several of the later versions of the "Shake Rattle and Run" 57 Chevy from the Chicago area in the 60's and 70's Steve Prideaux
  13. Fremont Racing, did not send any molds or masters or decal art to Reliable Resin, Joe returned many of the masters, to the original makers. He still has some of the old molds that did not wear out. A large amount of the decal art was lost to a computer crash a year or so ago. I talked to him this last week and he said that his Alps printer is no longer working. He did indeed make some great products. Steve Prideaux
  14. Thank you all for the kind comments. John, I am always spellbound by your skill and execution. thank you all. Steve Prideaux
  15. Thanks for the comments. JC. The rear wheel flares, are from the Monogram/Revell BF Goodrich Corvette. The wheels are from the front of the Willy Borsch Fuel altered. The wheels, are available from Slixx under Competition Resin-wheels, for $1.00 per pair.I am not sure what kit the tires came from. thanks for your interest. Steve Prideaux Thanks for the comments. 16. Thank you all for the kind comments. The truck is a resin copy of the AMT 63 ford unibody. The Cobra, on the little trailer is an original issue, I found in my parents attic, I had many many years ago. The letter is a copy of the sale of the #1 Cobra Daytona coupe, for the price of, $5100.00 dollars, in 1969. The other paper, is a list of "used race cars" for sale, in January of 1966 by Shelby American. I believe they had to discount many of them to sell them. These were found in the book, Cobra Ferrari Wars. Thank you all for the kind words. Steve Prideaux
  17. i finished these just before the NNL West. ( a fantastic show !!) thanks for looking, Steve Prideaux
  18. Great build !! I really like it. Good job. Do the wheels and tires come with the HRM kit ? Steve Prideaux
  19. Felix, Thank you for the fantastic photo presentation of the NNL West show, It looks like you covered just about every model. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate it. Steve Prideaux
  20. Ira, Thank you for posting your and Mike's pictures of the show. It was really a great show. Thank you and Mike for the pictures of my Cobras, on the truck. I greatly appreciate them. See you next year. Steve Prideaux
  21. I just picked up the new kit at the hobby shop. The body has been fixed at the front fenders and the new slicks are great. Mine came with the same Halibrand mags, that are in the new Avante reissue, not the kidney bean mags from the original release Cobra. I was hoping for the original type wheels. The rest of the kit is nuce. Steve Prideaux
  22. This model, was given a Staff Members pick, at the 2011 and 2012 NNL West. A great honor for me personally. Steve Prideaux
  23. Phil, Fantastic replicas, of a great subject. Outstanding workmanship. Well done !! Steve Prideaux
  24. Andy, Thank you, for the information on the carb tubes. I will try and find them. I am using the Monogram Cobra, three will be 427's and three will be 289's. I filled in the exhaust holes on the 289's and am using several different types of wheels. I am not sure if they will fit in any sanctioning body's rules. I had seen a picture of several early cobras on a car hauler, at a race track. That was my insperation. I am using the Ford cabover, with a sleeper and a modified AMT car hauler trailer. I am not very good at down loading pictures, for a build thread. Thank you again, for the information. Steve Prideaux
  25. Excellent build and great craftsmanship !! I can't wait to see it finished. Where were you able to got the 2.5 Ferrels for the weber carb stacks ? I am currently working on six cobras, for a car hauler load. Great work. Steve Prideaux
