  1. I sure like that truck very nice work you do.
  2. I dig it of course, I would have painted it black and no spoiler. But I'm a little partial. lol you did a great job.
  3. Yep I'm having fun and trying to learn as much as I can.
  4. Just getting some ideas of how it will look, still got a ways to go.
  5. Not getting much done tonight mostly watching supercross, but this is my mess, this all started with a single model my wife bought me 30 days ago. I think i'v gone crazy.
  6. I like, I like. Very interesting build
  7. I love all the detail, very nice work you do there.
  8. Very nice build, I love all the little details.
  9. Thanks Niko I'm trying.
  10. Tonight's attempt at doing something with the carbs, i think they came out ok. what do you think? Also tire selection, I chose the taller skinnier tire. I didn't get much done tonight, I was playing tug with my dog and he shook his head really hard and whacked the coffee table. He gave himself a concussion, what a nightmare that was, scared us half to death since he is the only kid we still have at home, our youngest son left for Tallahassee yesterday for school. Sorry couldn't get a very good pic of the carbs or motor.
  11. Hey Tom it was the wife who bought me the first kit now she just shakes her head at what she created. I guess she figures at least I'm not jumping out of airplanes anymore so all is good. I really have a great wife she lets me do just about anything I want and supports me in most all my endeavors. I am very Blessed.
  12. Well I'm still treading water, but you guys are right I'm in way over my head, I better learn to float. lol
  13. Now all I have to do is get them in the house past the wife. lol Thanks for the info on my build. Your work is awesome, I hope can get to that level some day.
  14. Wow thanks for all the input and advice, it sure helps a lot. Look what showed up at my office this morning. I figured I needed some supplies so I don't have stop every time I decide I want to do something to a build, I'm not organized enough to order what I want before I start building, I'm just a kinda wing it guy, so this should help by having some stuff on hand.
  15. Just awesome, I for sure would love to see a how to video.
  16. Well I just want this one done so I started throwing some color on stuff tonight. I think I started trying to put to much into this one since its my first build. I think it's ok but I need to figure out what to use for body filler since it's hard to apply liquid plastic evenly. Motor is coming along I still have to strip the carbs and paint them any suggestions so I can get the correct look for them. Also what's the best way to strip paint from the plastic, I painted the dash without priming it and it looks orange and now the interior is more red so I need to redo the dash. Any suggestions on this stuff would be great. Any tips or comments on my build would be great as I am trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks Bob
  17. That's good info, thanks. I still have to find the 67 thru 69 bodies, I guess that's a chore too.
  18. Sweet cant wait to see the updates.
  19. I bought this kit to steal parts from for my 71 Cuda build, but found lots of detail parts such as wipers, door handles and interior stuff so I decided to keep it together till I build my 68 Cuda and I will get another one for when I build my 69 Cuda, I guess I better make that 2 extras because I used to own a 67 Cuda also so I'll need those parts for that one also. Anyway just thought I would give you heads up might help with getting the right stuff for your next build.
  20. I think your telling stories, you couldn't build those your work area is too clean. lol Awesome job. I love it. Sure wish I could build like that.
  21. Wow what a way to end the year. Way to go out with a bang. Excellent job.
  22. Nice looking good.
  23. Some bits I have been working on. First attempt at scratch building something. Built the seat and starting on the headers. Also tried figuring out the plug wire thing you guys do. Lots of learning, my painting skill are terrible. But I'm having fun. Still got lots of sanding and grinding to do.
