Hi all my name is Bob and this is my first attempt at building a model, well at least since I was a kid 40 plus years ago. My wife bought me a Cuda to build for my birthday, and well if you know me then you know things are starting to get out of hand already. I will try and post up some pics to get you up to speed on my craziness. Any and all advice and comments are welcome I truly am a newb at this stuff and would like to learn so I'm sure I will have lots of questions along the way. Thanks in advance for all your help. Bob This is where it started she bought me 1 model and a tube of glue. Then it began. lol

Looking good, since your going this far mind as well do it as a complete detail job, I can tell you won't be happy unless its all there and correct. I hate being OCD. lol Just keep having fun.

That's part of the upgrade disc brakes all around. I did coil over ladder bar rear end as part of the upgrade also. Car has been parked for two years now but we are getting close to having it back up and running. Hopefully have it back on the road this spring. I have two of them a 68 and the 69, after I get the 69 back up and running I am going to put the 68 on a rotisserie and do the body then switch all the Hemi stuff over to the 68 and then make the 69 a play toy since its really a ten footer. 69 is an original 383 formula S 4 speed car. I almost did the 6.1 swap myself but I have never owned a original Hemi so I just opted to go that way. My motor is an original not a repop crate motor. 550hp 515tq. Should be fun when I get it up and going.

Hope to get that kit for Christmas also. Sounds like you got a good plan going.

Yes its mine 69 fastback Hemi car. I don't know how to post pics in a thread I didn't create. Oh yea stick with a dana 4:56 31x12.5 tucked underneath. I'm waiting on my K-member to be finished to put the new motor in at the moment. Why is it when I click quote it doesn't, new to this forum.

Nice, pic in my avatar is my 69 Cuda fastback putting a Hemi in it at the moment. HemiDenny over on abodies is doing my K-member at the moment, I don't know if you have seen his Silver Duster, its the bomb, ghost of the Mopar Missal, also his brother John is into modeling, mostly diecast I think he's a pretty good builder. -
Cool project. Looks good.

Wow great looking 1:1 and very nice work on your 1/25. Question where did your back half come from, im working on a 71 Cuda right now and like your back half much better than the one im using now. Thanks Bob PS im brand new to modeling so I ask lots of stupid questions. -
Love your 1:1 and I will be following your build closely because I will be building a 69 clone of my car soon. Build looks good so far.

Welcome Jay I'm new also. I think we can learn a lot here that's for sure.

Revell 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda - Lime Light - Finished Pics

Wow very nice build, I love Mopars. And yes when it came to colors Ma Mopar had tons of exceptions, I don't think anybody really can say for sure what color you could get with what car. Back then you could order almost whatever you wanted even if it was not on the order forms. -
Super cool build I love those cars. My stepdad has one we sure have fun with it at track days and autocross stuff.

That beast looks awesome wish I could build like that. Great job. I do have a question I am new to modeling, started my first build this past week how are you guys opening the doors, just using a knife and going down the body line several times, just guessing. Looks Amazing Thanks Bob -
Thanks TooOld.
