I have a few different sizes. I was considering drilling out the gauge holes in the dashboard and creating clear lenses, applying gauge decals to backs of the lenses and another clear peice behind that with the leds behind that

I want to add gauge lighting in my 1/12 Porsche. I bought some LEDs and have a couple of ideas. Has anyone here done it before ? Any suggestions ?

Thanks ! I do like the kit. It's not perfect. There are some thing to work through and some things that could've made it better. But overall I'm pretty happy with it. His communication has been excellent with any of the issues that I've had so far. The SM kit looks really nice but for that price I would probably buy a Hiro kit.

I've used plenty of that polyester putty. Never tried any upol products though.

What primer and putty are you using?

What drill bits do you recommend? I already bought a magnetic tumbler. Maybe I'll start one after my current project.

I also worked at a BMW shop for 16 years. I now work at a dealership shop that does MB JagRover,Porsche and msny others. I have had the porsche and jagrover aluminum training snd express. That's a pretty incredible rate that you get for the Fords.
